it was amazing
bookshelves: classics

This was a spectacular book, although not at all what I expected. Pop culture Frankenstein is all about the horror of the monster and Victor's obsession with creating life, but it really explored insanity, isolation, betrayal, and revenge much more thoroughly. The monster was a fascinating character, however I was a bit bored with the doctor at times. All in all, a great read with lots of fascinating insights about human nature.
