it was ok
bookshelves: adult

It had its merits, but mostly it made me realize I need a break from this series. I've mentioned before how much I hate Stephanie/Ranger, and I'm not looking forward to reading more of them after this book. I hate the discrepancies from the first book to the later ones and how there seems to be a really over the top character (I mean beyond ridiculous. Lula and Grandma I can handle for the most part, but Kloughn was just a weird character -- although I have to admit he made me laugh a few times) in every book. And the same story OVER and OVER again. It mostly upsets me how there is no character growth whatsoever. Really Stephanie? You have the opportunity to take a guy into custody after he's been absolutely insane to you but you decide to leave and come back later because he throws up? I mean, come on.
