Powerful and Touching

A grandson, who is soon to be deployed to Afganastan, accompanied his grandfather on a trip to the WWII
Memorial in Washington D.C.. On the flight there the grandfather shared many of his experiences as a young soldier fighting the Germans. He spoke of battles, deaths, friendships and. all his range of feelings at the time. I found it all very touching and powerful.
