it was amazing
bookshelves: r2r, magic, another-world-fantasy

I have really enjoyed this trilogy and am gutted its finished but it was a journey I won't forget in a hurry.
what I liked was this book wasn't predictable you worked out what was going on just as the characters did it's not like in the end there's a major battle between light and dark, it's more connecting the dots and outwitting the enemy.
throughout this trilogy I have loved the characters and think you fall more and more in love with them as danger increases and you realize how close they all are.
I really liked that even though Regan became queen she didn't change she was still her funny swearing self, she just grew more as a person with responsibility. she didn't just let the council take over she stood her ground and went with her instincts.
this book was very hard to put down you just wanted to know what was happening next. this series has had me laughing my head off at the personalities of Regan and her little family, it's had me falling in love with the characters and I've also cried with grams and the emotional good bye.
Queen Regans last funny saying
"there's no need to cry over spilled soda"
