This is one of the best Young Adult books that I've read this year. It is the story of Gemma, a teen who has been stalked and kidnapped by Ty and taken to the Australian Outback, where there is no hope of escape. Ty is a seductive character, unstable but truly believing he is saving Gemma by his actions. Gemma experiences a whole range of believable emotions as she comes to grips with her situation and her captor. The author has perfectly captures what it must be like to be taken away from the life that you know and taken to a place where you are totally dependant on the person who kidnapped you. In the process, Gemma learns about Ty's past and she and the reader come to understand what drives his actions and why he is not the monster you think at first. By the end of the book you are not sure what to feel for Ty, and as the reader your feelings are as confused as Gemma's. Even thought I finished the book, the story has stayed with me. Highly recommended!

Zita stratis I totally agree with having the story still stay with you. I feel as if im still in the story as if i was Gemma. I love the twisted romance in this story and how we, the reader is just as confused as Gemma. To this day i want to just go to Australia and experience it. Let me know if you mihgt have any other books that you could recommend to me.
