** spoiler alert ** This was an amazing book about space travel, myseterious blocks found on the moon, and one astronaut's struggle to accept something new. The characters were well-done, and many times I felt the need to write down quotes.

Much of the book gave me what I call the "The Twilight Zone feeling." It comes when something strange yet oddly intriguing happens. In fact, there were several instances where I wanted to hum The Twilight Zone's theme song spontaneously. The ending especially was one of those moments since I was not at all expected him to "morph" into this higher level of existance.

The book was not what I had expected, but it was pretty good.
