There are phrases, bits of dialogue, whole passages that have stayed with me for decades -- long enough for me to forget where they came from in the first place. Reading this book again is like revisiting a close old friend you haven't seen since high school."

It's a good one. I love how quickly King and Straub get to the quest.

Daniel Swensen Funny -- reading this book was like reliving a piece of my own history. The volume I read is the exact hardback volume I read almost thirty years ago. There are some discolorations and marks on the pages that I know came from my thirteen-year-old self. I knew exactly how it ended, but I still couldn't put the book down. And even though I'd taken the journey before, I was still sad when it was over.
