I'm not sure what draws me to the topic of the Holocaust, but I love learning more about it; even though, it is heart-wrenching. This is an amazing memoir of a 15 year old Jewish boy who is sent to the camps with his family. He only spend a year in the camps before he was liberated, but his stories make one want to ask how could other humans do this to each other? I probably won't read it again because it is a depressing subject, but it is defiantly one worth reading! We must never forget.
