Read from May 14 to 15, 2010 — I own a copy

I enjoyed the process of reading this book but I think I lost the point of it somewhere along the way.

The narrative was not chronological and I made no effort to keep track of where we were.

It became obvious early on that not everything that was happening was really happening but was instead a dramatisation and I made no effort to keep track of that either.

And despite my lack of effort to keep track of the story I was never confused. I allowed the story to wash over me and rather enjoyed some of the observations made of people and adolescence in general. I liked it. However, the end fizzled out and because I didn't come away knowing what had happened, which I'm quite sure is the point, I didn't love it.
