it was amazing
bookshelves: culture-and-politics, science-fiction, gender-issues, spirituality-and-or-religion, literature
Recommended for: Adolescents and adults
Read in January, 2004

This belongs on the same shelf as 1984, Brave New World, and Farenheit 451. Atwood paints a dark and all-too-possible picture of an American theocracy; this is a much-needed warning every American voter should read.
