really liked it

i just finished reading the book you dont know me by david klass and this book was about a boy named john. john is just like most teens, he goes to school, he has friends, he likes the most popular girl, ect. but, what people dont know is he gets abbused by his soon to be stepfather and john is too scared to even tell anyone including his own mother. he thinks that evryone doesnt care about him and he thinks if he doesn tell someone they wont do anything about it because their lives are more important than his. he doesnt have any faith in anyone not even himself.
later on in the book, john is actually lucky enough to get help when he didnt even ask for it. john could have trusted other people i just think the way he got riased affected the way that he trusted people. in the end, the book weas actually for his mother, he thought she didnt know him, he thought she didnt know him at all, and he thought that she didnt even care for him. i dont think it was that he thought nobody cared for him it was that he thought everything in her life was more important than he was. he was wrong in the end he found out that his mom would have chosen him no matter what. he was her world.
in the book you dont know me by david klass john (the main character) knows he has to do something about his soon to be step dad hes just too scared to do it a lot of kids who are abused always find it hard to find help or trust people to help them out with the person thats abussing them. i think more people should read this book. it really is a great book. it's exactly how a teenagers life is. i would rate this book a 9/10 but only because some parts were alittle confusing. :)
