~Prayer is powerful~ but do you know how to pray for yourself? (God wants to hear the requests for your life too!)
Trust Him moment by moment with the concerns of your heart and discover the awesome power that prayer will release in your life.
Draw closer to God. Know His plans and purposes for your life. Receive comfort, help and strength for every day.
30 chapters on specific topics/prayers, including these:
"Lord, comfort me in times of trouble."
"Lord, preserve me in purity and holiness."
"Lord, free me from ungodly fear."
"Lord, draw me into a closer walk with You."
"Lord, teach me to walk in obedience to Your ways."

She closes each chapter with a prayer and "God's Promises to me" Scripture verses.
This would make an excellent personal or group Bible study.

I read just a little each day so I could really "soak" it all in and grasp the wisdom.

I plan on keeping this book handy for when I need a little extra encouragement to keep praying and hoping. It has definitely helped me in my prayer life.
It's brought me to a place where I feel I can express my thoughts to God in a new way.
