This highlighted my ignorance of the chronological order of events of the Revolutionary war. It is only a recount of the events of year 1776 ending with Washington's crossing of the Delaware. And as this is the start of him leading the Americans to defeat General Howe and the British it left me wanting to know more of how the war was finally won.
