I really enjoyed Fantaskey's first book, Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side and pretty high expectations for this book. While I liked this book and found it pretty difficult to put down, I wasn't crazy about it.

Jill Jekel has had a rough year, her father has died, her mom is losing it, and she may not have enough money to go to college. On top of that she is having friend problems (as in she doesn't really have and) and she is working to stay at the top of her class.

Hyde is a cool guy with a bad streak. He is a loner from the UK and is hiding a terrible and dark secret. When Jekel meets Hyde, the two must work together. In the process they will discover dark secrets about themselves, each other, and human nature.

Overall a good read but a disapointment after Jessica's guide. For me I found both Jekel and Hyde a little annoying.
