This was a neat historical romance set in the late 1893!!! A time period where women could live in apartments (alone) and work. The heroine in this book is a secretary that continues writing a book about "etiquette." But, the man she works for (a publisher) keeps telling her it needs to be rewritten, etc, but he never even reads it. She finds out and quits! She gets a job writing as "Mrs. Bartleby" which is kinda like a Dear Abby column for Lord Marlowe's competitor and it becomes a HUGE success.

This is a neat little romance. I really enjoyed reading about the characters and their interactions. There isn't any adventure in this book, but it was a 5 star for This Reader.
