it was amazing
bookshelves: non-fiction
Read in January, 2002

So this book is one of the few books of lit crit I've ever read. It begins with Abram and Isaac, and it goes through some great Roman writings, some pretty wild Celtic rants about battle axes, and ends with Virginnia Woolf. That doesn't really get what makes it great, he reads the shit out of some text.
