it was amazing
bookshelves: fantasy, strong-female-lead, undying-love, favorites, mind-blowing, multicultural, adult

Oh my god, so good. I loved this book. It's story was so unique, and yet the universe and the creation myth felt so familiar. I loved the main character Yeine and her story and her fight. The gods were wonderfully written, believable in their vaster-than-humankind ways. And finally, (thanks gods, you could say) someone was able to do the forbidden fruit, dangerous attraction story right. It was just enough and never really stole center stage. I can't wait to read the next one. Yay for discovering new awesome fantasy stories!
