it was ok
bookshelves: fiction, drama-novels

This book was difficult to finish because while cleverly bouncing you around a timeline to avoid a hopeless rut as well as witty, it frankly depressed me. This girl never could get anything right, or she just refused to see the silver lining and aimed for the dark linings of silver clouds. It's difficult to tell which, but whichever, you had to search for the positive in the midst of the witty and lightly sarcastic yet continually negative representation of what seemed to be a very typical life. It left me with a sense of inability to truly end as Sophie's last shared life segment was simply another of the many.
