it was amazing

Full Tilt is not the average book you would expect. Sixteen year old Blake is the man of the house. He acts like a father to his brother Quinn. Quinn is a daredevil who will do anything you want him to. Pretty much the opposie of Blake. Not only will Quinn go on a scary rollercoaster, but he will climb on top of a rollercoaster to grab his hat. Even when the rollercoaster is coming his way. But as Blake, Quinn and their friends Maggie and Russ are at an amusment park they get a misterious invitation. Of course Quinn is the first one to use the invitation and shows in a phantom carnival. Soon Blake needs to come save his brother's life and go to the carnival. Not only is is it filled with phantoms, but in oreder for Blake, Maggie, and Russ have to survive 7 rides. Not just ordinary rollercoasters but rides where you have to risk your life.

Neal Shusterman did a great job writing this book. It is a horror story, but not one that will give you a nightmare. I usually hate any kind of horror stories but, this one i loved. It never got boring, and you can sense the fear in Blake as he gets on the rides. It was also easy to relate to the characters. I thought this book was amazing and good for any pre-teen or teenager. After reading this one, I can't wait to read more!
