Well, I did it. I once said I’d never read this, so I don’t know what suddenly possessed me to read it during a long car ride.
There is so much love or hate for this book out there, so I expected to have really strong feelings about it. Not the positive kind, though. The writing was pretty bad, and the story was just … okay.
Honestly, I was mostly bored. And man, Ana is super lame a majority of the time. I just had no patience for her. I tried really, really hard to ignore the repetitive “oh my”, but they’re pretty annoying. I did, however, enjoy their e-mails quite a bit.
I was going to go ahead and read the next book just to finish what I started, but then saw how long it is. I don’t think I can sit through that much more of Ana anytime soon. And I don’t seem to care what happens with them. Who knows, I might get possessed again.
