it was ok

Didn't enjoy this as much as the other Renko novels i've read, ( Gorky park, Polar Star and Red Square ). I think this is down to the fact that in the other Renko novels there was much more about the state of Russia/U.S.S.R at the period of time whereas in "Wolves" the focus is far more on Renko himself as most of the novel takes place in and around the zone of exclusion around Chernobyl. The book is by no means badly written nor uninteresting and two stars is a little harsh but it wasn't quite good enough for three (and you can't give half stars)
