it was ok

This 200 page book was a chore to get through! It was written with a twist of Irish brough so the reading was difficult and very discnnected. The story was interesting but predictible. A woman growing up in a orphanage marries a man whose first wife and child he accidently killed in an accident. She knew she was not marrying for love but rather to care for him. She meets and falls in love with someone is a neighboring town who is in the process of selling his home and leaving Ireland forever....does she go with him? She contemplates it until she realizes that the right thing to do is to stay with the person who takes care of her and in his own way loves her. To leave him would devastate him and she knows this, so for his sake she stays. The story could have been more riviting had the writer put more emotion into the book.
