it was ok

The concept was sound, but the execution was poor. The author took a very liberal approach to what counted as a MacGyverism. So instead of being a book about cool, on-the-fly inventions, the scope was broadened to crafty verbal manipulation, tales of drinking ones own urine, and other not-ver-impressive stories. Some of the stories were good, but most of them were very, very weak.
