Kristina Pasko This book was fun and easy to read, and had lots of sweet bits, but was a bit unsatisfying. I felt like most of the characters were underdeveloped, and that Rowell was lazy about establishing their motives and psychology. Everybody's actions and behavior seemed unexplained, even those of the main character, Lincoln. Why is he so shy and unnerved by women, despite his good looks? Doesn't that seem unbelievable? And why the addiction to collegiate studies? Add to that list: Lincoln's mother (what's with all the cooking? how does she afford not to work?); the rockstar boyfriend (why is he always off on his own, reading? what is he reading?). Lincoln's sister seemed the most recognizable person in the story.

Still, a cute, engrossing book from a young author.
