So yeh my obsession with beauty and the beast type retellings is usually more a miss than a hit. Happy to impart that was not the case with thisSo yeh my obsession with beauty and the beast type retellings is usually more a miss than a hit. Happy to impart that was not the case with this particular one and I really enjoyed The Beast of Bath reading it in one complete sitting. So lady Thessaly Shade while fleeing the clutches of her stepfather is rescued by Lord Victor Mayhew The Beast Of Bath. Victor due to the scarring on his face hides in the shadows with only his oldest servants for company. when Thessaly offers herself up in return for his protection instead of making her his mistress like she imagined he offers her marriage. Right from the start, Thessaly recognises her good fortune and the gentle heart of her new husband she is also rather taken by his manly skills in the bedroom and despite not seeing his face she starts to fall for her new husband. He still hides his face from her eyes believing she would run screaming if she saw it despite her assurances that he needs to trust in her and see her for who she really is like she does him. So this was a very heartfelt and romantic read that left me feeling warm and fuzzy. It also has some very sensual and sexy scenes between Thessaly and Victor. There is also some added intrigue thrown in to further sweeten the pot. This was all wrapped up in a heartfelt HEA really loved it. One observation though I would have liked to see an epilogue of the two just to get a glimpse into the future This was a lovely Beauty and the beast themed historical romance set in the early 1800s and I enjoyed it immensely.

This was another great addition to the series and here we join Paca as she is now called or Apocalypse if you want the full bad-ass name and her four horsemen. So here we see our girl struggling with her origins and her place in their life and also rather envious of her boys bond. She feels disconnected and slightly adrift from them initially here, she also feels they're holding all the cards and keeping secrets again. But as she starts to come into her own power the bond here really does snap into place connecting them more as a unit and the five start to become one. This was action-packed and reveals more of the past with plenty of revelations. one observation though the whole balance thing was a tad confusing for me it was mentioned far too much in my opinion. Despite that above gripe, I am looking forward to the final stretch very much with this now.
Quinn has always had unusual urges but a traumatic incident at college changed everything for her. Now shes ready to explore her wants and needsQuinn has always had unusual urges but a traumatic incident at college changed everything for her. Now shes ready to explore her wants and needs further and she asks Joshua the sexy owner of Hush to assist her in making her fantasies a reality. Hush is a club that caters to certain fantasies in a safe consensual way and when he realises just what Quinn wants Joshua knows he will be the one that will fulfil those needs for her. But first, he needs to build trust between them both especially considering the suspicions he has over her past. It wasn't really a dark read at all and I found the interaction between Quinn and Joshua to be extremely bloody hot. I was definitely in need of a cold dunking after finishing this let me tell you. As the two spend time together outside the bedroom as well as in it they realise just how aligned their kinks are and start to fall deep for each other. This really was a very sweet and romantic read with all the feels I do so love a man who is unafraid to express just how he feels without fighting it ever so refreshing. There was a small bit of danger near the end thrown in but it only played a small part in the ongoing narrative i think it was mainly there to showcase some closure. I also adored that epilogue so heartwarming. This was a quick easy read that left me with a lovely warm feeling really enjoyed this one very much.

This is the second book in the series and starts right back where we started with Keyla and her boys ready to enter the trial initiated by the devil himself. It's full of twists and turns throughout and we finally get some answers regarding the origins of all five. In regards to the heat factor here, things are heating up in more ways than one, in fact, its only Jude that's really holding himself back the others all seem to be openly competing for the position of her current favourite. Keyla's powers are also manifesting at a very swift rate which makes a very interesting question on just who and what she actually is. So as well as being action-packed this is again extremely funny with many fantastic lone-liners from both sides and if you like warped humour then this one certainly delivers on that. I also adored Jude's nickname for her Treacherous Treasure to cute. This series is fast turning into a favourite and I am looking forward to starting book three.

loved this one just so much this series really is a great read that I recommend highly especially if you like some sizzle with your sci-fi. So we start this just after the events of the previous book and that dramatic fallout. Cyn is on trial for her actions and it isn't looking good for her at all. On top of all that Vargr is not a happy beaster, he is feeling massively betrayed and hurt by Cyn actually shooting him and he's holding a big fat grudge. Luckily Rutger is there to pick up the slack in that department especially since the Lure is hovering just offside ready to whisper in Cyn's ear, so thank god for Rutger is all I can say. This story sees a ragtag crew along with Rutger Vargr and Cyn head out to locate Big Daddy hoping to discover more about there original origins to help assist them in there fight against the Ghoul Lords. So just like the previous book the world-building and imagination expanded creating this diverse post-apocalyptic backdrop was excellent. Fast-paced and so original this managed to keep me glued throughout. There is just the right balance here between the action, the emotional and the erotic and this one definitely brought along the heat factor, in fact, the thermostat was cranked right up to the maximum with this. We get to know Rutger so much better here and I now feel equally connected to all three bond-mates, I feel they now work together collectively as a unit and seem to have taken their trio to a whole new level. Got to say I am totally adoring the dominant control vibe we have here the forced fantasy vibe is so bloody hot. You are most definitely going to need a cold shower after reading this. So I loved where this eventually took us and also that end reveal really explained a lot. This author has managed to construct a fabulously complex world without massive info-dump, not an easy task at all. Really looking forward to the concluding part of this a big thumbs up from my camp. I voluntary reviewed a copy of Vargr Rutger (Beast Horde #2).
Another fabulous edition to the indecency Suites novella's and this one encompasses the whole spirit of the festive season with a Christmas gift inAnother fabulous edition to the indecency Suites novella's and this one encompasses the whole spirit of the festive season with a Christmas gift in the form of one Gables Rhyme. So Jude tinkler gets an unexpected gift from above on Christmas Eve turning her night into one to remember. Healing her in the one way he excels at but with the assistance of something bigger than them both. This was kinky and hot and sensual but also slightly mysterious and obscure. Although short this had all the connection and all the feels a much softer story than some of the previous ones but just as emotive. An erotic tale with lots of Christmas healing this was another great addition to the ongoing series. I voluntary reviewed a copy of Christmas Gifts: An Indecency Suites Festive Treat.

This is a collection of Five erotic shorts all featuring a different erotic encounter at there centre but all loosely interconnected by the same exclusive male escort agency that caters to the client in every way that they could desire. Each story has a slightly different flavour in regards to what it delivers so there is something for everyone and each one is fantastically heavy and hot. Book one Harlot Nights is Rachael and Guy's tale it's sweet but also so very very dirty: excellently written effortlessly creating an atmosphere of dirty filthy sensual delight. In Book two Dark Surrender we meet Heath and Lily this was like a dirty little fantasy come to life this plays with the dub-con side of things and has a much darker flavour than its predecessor: bloody loved it. Sunset Serenade book three is Still as sexy and dirty as the rest but with more of a loving sensual vibe attached to it. This is Tyler and Elaine's rodeo and this concentrates on hidden tension and unspoken desires a lighter read but just as deep and decadent as the others. In Parisian Affair the forth offering we have a menage situation twins Reece and Jacob and Angel. This one switched it up in more ways than one as Angel gets played by the boys and has the tables turned on her so completely. Loved the fantasy dub-con slant of this one it really was my jam. Finally, book five Primal Desire is M/M and this one is my stand out favourite of the bunch so far Adored Craven guiding Brady on his Journey of discovery as he introduces him to all the hedonistic pleasures of the flesh: This one was off the charts hot. Each story is a quickie read to fill a half-hour but what's amazing about these stories is that though they are short there still heavy on the emotional connection as well as the heat. This is a great bunch of erotic stories that will make you tingle in all the good places.

The first-ever thing I have read by this author and my god what a fabulous ride this was. The first in a romantic suspense duet this was such a twisty and turbulent experience. I felt so many contradicting emotions both during and after this angry, sad, confused my heart and head fighting a constant battle with what I believed or what might actually be. Even when the characters here managed to frustrate me so much I felt like screaming at them I still was rooting for them all the same. Makenzie, I loved her just so much she was a trifle batshit but who could blame her considering. She wasn't the most logical tool in the box but she had such heart in everything she did even if her decisions and spy-skills sucked hairy balls. I also loved Baz at least when he wasn't behaving like a tool I adored how dirty and emotional his and Makenzie's encounters were, His Dirty-girl nickname for her was just so hot. These two had so much chemistry they could start a forest fire together they really did sizzle. This is a story of secrets ones that are hidden and buried so deep an industrial size shovel may be needed just to uncover them. But no matter what she has to do including using Baz to uncover the truth our girl is determined to succeed and get vengeance for her sister's life cut short. Such a page-turner I couldn't put this down and I read in one entire sitting I was absolutely transfixed from the moment I picked this up and what a finale: I need the next part of this like yesterday. I have no idea what's going to go down in the concluding part of this but can't bloody wait. This is a five-star read all the way and I highly recommend this twisty suspenseful story. This one gets a huge thumbs up from me. I voluntary reviewed a copy of Kiss Me With Lies.

Another great addition to the series and the end of this trilogy. We start this right where we left off and Clare is now ready to finalise her bond with Exos and ascend as his queen. Elsewhere things are also moving forward with the rest of her mates and I felt that we finally got to know vox and Sol on a much deeper level than we had previously. My spidey senses here were also abuzz with all the shady behaviour from a certain individual. I definitely had my suspicions, everything here just isn't as black and white as it first appears. This was full of action and such an intense and erotic read and I totally believed in the feelings of all involved. This was such a great finale to the whole trilogy and one I have enjoyed immensely. So happy Clare got her HEA with all her Elemental mates Cyrus, Exos, Titus, Vox and Sol. This is reverse harem at its finest, raging hot in heat and with all the romantic feels. I voluntary reviewed a copy of Elemental Fae Academy: Book Three (Elemental Fae Academy #3).
Night Kiss is a slow burn Paranormal action romance. Kat is a vampire hunter after the death of her adoptive family at the hands of rogue[image]
Night Kiss is a slow burn Paranormal action romance. Kat is a vampire hunter after the death of her adoptive family at the hands of rogue vampires. Consequently, she hates all bloodsuckers and goes by the motto the only good one is a dead one. Ryker is an ancient vampire with many tricks to his arsenal, after the recent disappearance of his friend and nemesis Elias he's hot on the trail, Elias is another ancient and king to boot. Both Ryker and Kat have the same goal obtaining the vampire king, but kat wants to annihilate him while Ryker wants to rescue him. Incognito and hiding his true nature Ryker teams up with Kat and as the two join forces for the search they begin to grow closer. So I took a while to become invested here and I think that might have been because of the characters themselves. Kat was totally blinkered in her hatred of the undead almost with a zealot mindset that I found extremely closeminded and irritating at times. I get her past but at times she was a little over the top and confrontational she also didn't listen to any logic whatsoever acting on impulse instead of sense. Ryker, for the most part, I liked him but again he was a little too wishy-washy in his interactions with Kat I wanted him to be less apologetic and more a force to be reckoned with after all he was a centuries-old vampire. I did get more invested in the unfolding drama the further I went with this it just took a while to get there. The first half of this was a tad slow but the second part made up for it and then it was action-packed right until the finale This also was quite low on the heat concentrating more on the action rather than the romance. In conclusion, this was a good read that despite some slight issues I did find enjoyable and I would recommend. I voluntary reviewed a copy of Night Kiss
3.5 Stars The previous book in this series wasn't really my thing, I'm pleased to say this one was the opposite and I enjoyed this one much[image]
3.5 Stars The previous book in this series wasn't really my thing, I'm pleased to say this one was the opposite and I enjoyed this one much more. This is a fairytale retelling which is very loosely based on its namesake. It was an imaginative endeavour a sort of dystopian fantasy retelling set in the future frozen wasteland of Wonderland where the two factions The Penna and the Cyan have been at war for years. Alice is a mercenary archer for the Penna who is disillusioned with just what she is fighting for so she jumps ship and deserts. Rabbit White is a commander of the Cyan army and when his path crosses with Alices and he realises her skill decides that instead of killing her to put her to work as one of his soldiers fighting for the Cyan army. The two from opposite sides of this war put aside their differences and slowly start to fall for each other. I found this to be much more emotive than its predecessor and could definitely feel the connection between Alice and Rabbitt. There's plenty of discipline and spanking here which was definitely hot. This was a very different read and despite being the second in the series this is a standalone it's the fairytale retelling that connects this series. I voluntary reviewed a copy of The Truth About Alice.

So this final thrilling addition to the whole series is here and what a dark and twisted journey it has been. After that previous stunning finale, Logan's eyes are finally wide open in regards to who is actually sleeping in his bed and just who she is. As all paths converge into one atonement and closure are finally close at hand for Lana and Jake. This book was so very heartfelt and there is a strong message of accepting someone you love just as they are. Lanas violent and traumatic past has moulded her into who she now is and her most fervent wish is for Logan to just get her and love her regardless like she does him. This one was equally as twisted as its previous counterparts and the final outcome an epic shit-storm and I adored every minute. This was my absolute favourite of all it was jam-packed throughout. These even had some extra surprises like the identity of the first killer, didn't see that one coming major blindsided me. Loved the finish here also, This series is a five-star experience and has turned into one of my faves ever.
The fourth instalment in this seriously addictive series and my god I'm still loving this so much. We are still firmly back in Lana's old town[image]
The fourth instalment in this seriously addictive series and my god I'm still loving this so much. We are still firmly back in Lana's old town as she and Jake bring fear and mayhem to the whole community. The FBI and Logan are getting much nearer to the truth as they investigate this corrupt town with its dark and twisted past. Here we have Lana and Jake racing towards there end-game while Logan and his team are also equally racing against the clock trying to apprehend a killer. The secrets they discover buried here shocking them all even making some feel they maybe playing for the wrong team as the truth slowly starts to emerge. And OMG that finale what a play, I was left with my heart in my mouth literally and I am starting the final book immediately. What a series this is turning out to be, can't recommend this enough folks.
This one concluded right where we left off with that former shocking finale and it was pure poetic justice to observe. We also now seem to[image]
This one concluded right where we left off with that former shocking finale and it was pure poetic justice to observe. We also now seem to finally be getting a deeper understanding of whats actually occurred through a series of flashbacks that definitely add a sense of clarity to the whole puzzle. A dark picture is starting to emerge and take shape and it was seriously disturbing. Lana is so strong and capable and now the hero of her own story and this time her and Jake her childhood friend and co-conspirator who is also keeping secrets take the fight right back to its origins and confront the evil head-on. Along with her boyfriend Logan and his team she's heading back to her old town to stir the pot and hold the whole town to account for there actions all those years ago. Again this was a super read and I am devouring these instalments one after the other.
This next book in this addictive series really does up the ante in terms of the action and drama and we also have one of Logan's cases[image]
This next book in this addictive series really does up the ante in terms of the action and drama and we also have one of Logan's cases seriously impacting his new relationship when a serial-killer he is chasing The Boogeyman targets, Lana, sending him into protective caveman mode despite Lana's more than able ability to take care of herself. We also have a suspicious co-worker and a jealous Ex added to the mix and also developments that I didn't see coming at all. Logan himself also nearly self-explodes his new partnership by a lack of consideration before it has even got started sending Lana into a spin. I enjoyed this just as much as its predecessor and that grand finale was all sorts of dramatic. This series is all sorts super addictive and dark and twisty and I am loving every second of the journey.
Loving this one so much it was ever so intriguing with such a dark messed up tale to impart. on the surface here we have Lana just an ordinary[image]
Loving this one so much it was ever so intriguing with such a dark messed up tale to impart. on the surface here we have Lana just an ordinary woman, but underneath that unassuming persona and hidden from sight is a girl with deep secrets and a penchant for vengeance against knows who have done her and her loved ones past harm. When her agenda collides with FBI profiler Logan its the start of there journey together. One that is at total odds with each other's personal goals. Lana was sadistically bent on completing her end-game and I adored her single-minded determination to annihilate and torture her former tormenters in such bloody and gruesome a fashion. Logan was just as determined to fulfil his obligations by doing his job and catching the un-sub and there opposing agendas put them firmly at opposite ends of the moral spectrum. It's easy to judge if you've not been exposed to the kind of evil that Lana has experienced. I really appreciated Lana's definition of justice it gave me a profound sense of satisfaction. I am really excited about this series this first instalment has really captured my attention and I can't wait to read more.

So rather than a dark romance, this is a book with dark themes and triggers. Holly's older husband Richard is a cruel and abusive spouse when he supposedly dies of a heart attack leaving behind his young wife with deep scars inside and out from the past six years living with a monster. James is an estate lawyer by day and a punishing killer by night. He uses his compulsion for death to punish what he perceives as the guilty and the predators of this world who prey on the weak. Holly comes to his attention as a murderer and he abducts her to use as his next purge, This purge to quieten his own personal demons from the past but when he realises she is a victim herself he's a bit of a loss with what to do with her, he doesn't kill the innocent. So this was a dexter type scenario and both James and Holly have there own personal brand of cray cray. She's not his usual purge and though their brands of crazy differ slightly they each see in the other someone who sees them in their entirety and their similarities help to connect them on a deeper level. This was definitely an intriguing read quite the page-turner but myself I would have prefered a complete immersion in all there shared depravities rather than the redemption we were then offered. Despite that, I still enjoyed this one very much and would definitely recommend.
DNF-25% This is another one where it looked fantastic on paper but in reality, I just couldn't get into it despite reading until 25%. This one is setDNF-25% This is another one where it looked fantastic on paper but in reality, I just couldn't get into it despite reading until 25%. This one is set in a future where cutting-edge and secret technology allows a digitally stored dead consciousness to be uploading into a living person hence the term body tourist. While I found the idea extremely intriguing the actual execution here was less so. This was in itself well written I just found it monotonous and slightly tedious. I threw in the towel a quarter way through as I had no inclination to proceed further with this which was unfortunate as I was initially excited to embark with this one. Unfortunately, this one just wasn't for me. I voluntary reviewed a copy of Body Tourists.
This really was a fascinating fantasy type historical romance which was much more than it originally seemed. A creature romance with a love/hate[image]
This really was a fascinating fantasy type historical romance which was much more than it originally seemed. A creature romance with a love/hate relationship at its centre. Left by her handsome but uncaring and cruel husband Lord Norr at there manor house with no defences to protect her and her household from marauding orc's Jule is taken hostage in chains by the Orc's captain Grimarr. He wants her as mate not only for himself but to dent the pride of her husband. This one is definitely aimed at adults and the content here was steamy hot and incredibly detailed with a really descriptive style of narrative when it came to the antics of our two lovers. This was all sorts of kinky fun with plenty of Grimarr's huge monster appendage and all its actions included in graphic and erotic detail throughout, bloody loved it. Also as I mentioned earlier this had so much more happening and despite the erotic narrative this also had a deeper message to impart. All about prejudice both hidden and intentional and acceptance of others despite there appearance and origins. My only complaints with this were sometimes the antics and actions of the individuals involved here infuriated me, so much so that at times I wanted to scream in pure frustration. I also thought this could have benefited with some insights from Grimarr instead of just Jule. This really was an incredibly enjoyable read that had a lot more depth than what I was expecting.
DNF-26% This one really wasn't for me at all, I thought this was going to be an edge of your seat psychological thriller and it was more a dramaDNF-26% This one really wasn't for me at all, I thought this was going to be an edge of your seat psychological thriller and it was more a drama centring around a refuge with some suspense thrown in. The terror and mystery for me was the secondary concern here with the everyday mundanity of Ri's life at home and work taking centre-stage. It was at heart a story focusing more on its relationships and connections and less on the mystery and suspense. The story spotlights Ri a mother and wife who works for a charity assisting abused spouses. She receives a mysterious phone and through this medium, someone claims to be watching her leaving her messages and sending her videos and pictures. I gave this till 26% which was a quarter way through so quite a chunk and I still couldn't connect or be at all invested within the narrative. As I said earlier this wasn't what I was expecting from this and I found the pace to be very slow and plodding indeed and ultimately I was bored and then found myself skimming before losing interest completely. The writing itself here was fine this just wasn't to my taste and I thought the blurb itself was a tad misleading as well. I voluntary reviewed a copy of How to Play Dead.

Oohhh this was just delicious and I devoured every dirty decadent word delivered and this really was fabulously filthy. Daddy's Dirty Boss is a taboo age-gap romance with a big dose of schoolgirl fetish and its as hot as hell in its content and deliverance. This really made me tingle in all the right places with all its sexy and sinful scenarios. This was a forbidden foray into everything thing that makes your pulse quicken in all its dirty deliciousness. A coming of age story that was as emotional as it was erotic. Faith just shy of eighteen goes to work for the summer for Miles, family friend and her dads boss. She has a massive crush on her sexy older mentor and though he tries to fight his natural instincts he returns the sentiment tenfold. He also has all sorts of devious inclinations and fetishes that he wants to protect his young protegee from not to mention his friendship with her parents. His willpower does eventually take a tumble after Faith turns eighteen and the two then embark on a relationship meeting in secret as they both fall further down the rabbit hole. So yes this was definitely a ten on the dirty scale but I could also feel the natural affection and love beneath there edgy kink. This was equally a love story about finding the other half of yourself despite the obstacles involved. I am an absolute fiend for this type of fiction being in an age-gap relationship of twenty years myself and this delivered on all fronts. I really liked the slow-burn development here before it was all guns blazing the build-up here left me with my tongue hanging out and panting in anticipation. I liked where this went, how it got there and also how it ended. I am always slightly nervous embarking on these age-gap romances after one came out of left-field and nearly destroyed me a few years back with its unsatisfying finale pleased to say this one definitely delivered and there's closure and a HEA in sight. Highly recommend this if you like the taboo and forbidden. I voluntary reviewed a copy of Daddy's Dirty Boss.
This has got to be my favourite to date of this authors work. I bloody adored this like so much and am now gagging for my next fix of this[image]
This has got to be my favourite to date of this authors work. I bloody adored this like so much and am now gagging for my next fix of this amazingly addictive story, thankfully that's not too long as the next ones out mid-December. This was such an exciting and interesting premise a sort of post-apocalyptic sci-fi with smexy bits. Set against a post-apocalyptic landscape in the aftermath of an alien invasion, Ghoul Lords have conquered the planet and are using the human race for breeding and food. Keeping them enraptured and contained with the Lure a sort of thrall. In a last-ditch attempt at fighting back, the beast horde was created a genetically engineered experiment to produce superior human warriors spliced with unknown DNA. At this moment this horde and limited humans are all that's left of humanity and they are now hiding in the shadows from the Ghoul Lords just attempting to survive. Cyn a human of unknown origins awakens from the Lure, finding herself on the roof and a prisoner of the alien overseers she becomes the first to ever break free fleeing and damaging a ghoul lord in the process. Falling from up-high she is rescued and plucked from the sky by a winged saviour. Vargr is one of these engineered experiments and to keep her safe from the lure bondmates her before taking her home to his tribe. well, this was all sorts of fabulous and I enjoyed this immensely. We are introduced into this imaginative world gradually with zero info dump and this story unfolds with Cyn, Vargr and also some Rutger (another Beast fascinated with Cyn) all taking there turn centre stage. This had just the right balance between action and heat I also really appreciated the character dynamic, the encounters here sizzled with there intensity spotlighting the incredibly chemistry. I also especially liked the dub-con play between the characters this was all sorts of hot hot hot. There was so much going on here in terms of story direction and mystery and this managed to capture my attention completely. I liked where this went and how we left things and my god that thrilling finale was all sort of edge of your seat. Ever so excited about this new series and this introduction into it was brilliant from start to finish. This was a five star read all the way and is one I highly recommend it was a non-stop addictive journey and there wasn't one thing here that I actually disliked. I voluntary reviewed a copy of Vargr (Beast Horde #1).
This one I'm sorry to say wasn't really for me a sort of kinky post-apocalyptic master /slave romance based kinda loosely on Cinderella, except[image]
This one I'm sorry to say wasn't really for me a sort of kinky post-apocalyptic master /slave romance based kinda loosely on Cinderella, except it isn't really that at all. I mean we have cinders, a prince, a palace and some mistress sisters but that's about the extent of it really. I felt this didn't know where it wanted to be at and at times encompassed too many different themes. I think this would have fared better if we had stuck with one theme or the other instead of as many as we did. I have read and enjoyed this author before and as you would expect this was as well written as her previous works just not really my bag. So this is quite an erotic read that is told entirely from Cinders POV and the initial premise was initially intriguing. This had some dark themes that some readers might struggle with but on the whole, this is not a massively dark story more of an erotic adventure. Least favourite from this author but this was still well written just not for me. I voluntary reviewed a copy of The Truth about Cinder.
This was the continuation of Jade and Malcolm's story that we originally started in an earlier anthology. This is that story from there repeated[image]
This was the continuation of Jade and Malcolm's story that we originally started in an earlier anthology. This is that story from there repeated for clarity and flow and then it continues on to its conclusion which I was defiantly more than ready for. So it’s the full book rather than the taster we were originally given. This is dark and brutal and brutal and everything else you have come to expect from this particular author. A riveting page-turner of a read than I inhaled in one complete sitting. Darius was again the sadistic father of the year we have come to expect from our previous interactions with him, while Malcolm seemingly the king's right-hand vampire works behind the scenes protecting his beloved Jade. Despite appearances to the contrary for him, she is what is important. I really liked where this went and it was a satisfying conclusion for all involved. Reading Catacombs the short story set in this world is not essential but will definitely enhance the whole experience giving you the insight to catch small nuances delivered here that you oversize might miss and also understand the back story itself. This is definitely not going to be a story for everyone it's not pretty and certainly doesn't pull its punches in terms of its dark content but if you have read this author previously you will have an idea what you're in store for. A dark vampire romance with some serious bite. I voluntary reviewed a copy of Cathedral.
This is a fantasy romance novel and a very enjoyable one at that. The first thing that struck me here was Elziras resemblance to the Snow Queen[image]
This is a fantasy romance novel and a very enjoyable one at that. The first thing that struck me here was Elziras resemblance to the Snow Queen with her cold icy castle and outward appearance. But this is no over-romanticized fairytale it had a much edgier and darker overtone whilst at the same time was still a really sweet love story despite the bloodshed involved. So Elzira is the reigning queen of the Norta Icelands, Queen Whitestone after the untimely death of her father, she is also the punisher of the damned. So Ryka the Truthseeker and King Bloodsun of the Souta Volcanos is the exact opposite of the Icequeen. Hot where she is cold, Fire where she is Ice he wants her cooperation to proceed through her lands to what lies beyond and is prepared to do whatever is needed to accomplish his goals. I really enjoyed this story the unapologetic viciousness was refreshing and though this wasn't a complicated story it was very absorbing. A quick read that really captured my imagination. I would really adore it if the author continued with this series and would certainly like to read more set in this world. If you like fantasy romance then this hits the spot massively. A thumbs up from my camp. I voluntary reviewed a copy of Cold Queen.

Love this authors work, she's the queen of misdirection and mind games and I always know I'm gonna get one hell of a ride along the way. This one, as usual, doesn't disappoint and is set in the world of Midnight Mayhem a travelling X-rated entourage of visual delights and mayhem with a very unusual recruitment process. This was as intriguing as it was confusing, a totally unique read that I had no clue most of the time what was actually occurring. With dark themes and blurred sexual boundaries, this had a major dark edgy vibe to it that I absolutely loved. At the centre here, we have Kingston and Dove, or little bird as shes known (loved the nickname). Both have their own roles to play in the upcoming drama and this book really does a number in terms of what you imagine is occurring and what actually is. No cliffhangers here and this one ends in an HFN ending which was fantastic. There is a book 2 wether that focuses on the same couple or introduces another pair I don't actually know. I highly recommend this one it really was a fantastic experience. I voluntary reviewed a copy of In Peace Lies Havoc (Midnight Mayhem #1).
Connecting for one night only Emily and the mysterious Jim hook up after a layover of there flight because of the bad weather. 12 months later[image]
Connecting for one night only Emily and the mysterious Jim hook up after a layover of there flight because of the bad weather. 12 months later and Emily is starting her new job at miles media where unbeknown to her, her new boss is none other than her night of passion Jameson Miles. So this was a fun contemporary read with plenty of humour and heavy on the angst. Jameson or Jay was dominant and bossy and a bit of an a-hole he was also a devil between the sheets. Emily was passionate, focused and as much as she tried to fight it a pushover when it comes to Jay's natural charisma. So I did like the back and forth banter between Jay and Emily but I wasn't always that keen on them, let's just say they both had their individual faults. Jay could be a bit of an arrogant douche and seemed to have a split personality blowing hot and cold constantly throughout and Emily could be super argumentative and also seemed to have a huge chip on her shoulder when it came to Jameson's wealth. Despite there flaws they both did start to grow on me it also helped that there chemistry together was seriously scorching. Ultimately and despite some small issues, this was a hit for me an opposites attract, boss/employer rom-com of a read that I enjoyed and I am happy to recommend. I voluntary reviewed a copy of The Stopover (The Miles High Club, #1).

House sitting on an island off the coast of Alaska for the Winter Eve follows a noise in the night down to the docks where she proceeds to slip and fall into the water. Azralon is of the Yremy, leader of a race of demons that reside in another realm. He is not in any way human he is purple with wings, claws, fangs and a tail and he has been dreaming of Eve for a while. when she washes up on his shores he believes her a tool sent by the witches to aid in his downfall. He believes she is working with his enemies, obviously, she is innocent of the crime accused. So this was enjoyable, It wasn't very taxing or complicated and it was a bit light on the worldbuilding itself but it was still a fun easy read. It was also quite a quick read and was instalove and instalust also. Nothing wrong with a bit of insta and the sexy scenes here sure hit the spot. This is the first book in a new series and I believe the next book is about Eve's friend. I voluntary reviewed a copy of Dark Allure (Demons of Poremi Book 1).

So this was exactly what I have been after lately, a gothic read that sucked me right into its intriguing narrative almost instantly and this one had all the gothic feel's attached, a tragic backstory with an almost ominous sense of looming dread overshadowing all. This is set in 1917 and our Protagonist returns home from her duties as a nurse after the death of her fiancee Gerald in the war. Struggling with her lingering grief a change is most definitely needed so when her brother in law asks her as a favour to join her pregnant sister at his family seat and keep her company in his absence Stella is only too happy to comply with his wishes. She also takes Annie a servant along to act as her maid. Annie also has a strange way about her that makes others uncomfortable. So Greyswick is a house of secrets and its apparent from the start that Stella's sister is not quite herself and even seems scared. A child crying in the night, toy soldiers being left in beds, things breaking and doors spontaneously opening all by themselves there is something unseen watching in this house of shadows. Something that defies all logical explanations except maybe the obvious no matter how outlandish it may initially appear. This was such a suspenseful and thrilling mystery a complete page-turner. I enjoyed this massively and raced through in record time. I also believe this is a debut author and they have done such an amazing job, very impressive indeed. I did guess some stuff here but it didn't take away any of my enjoyment this really is one I recommend highly. I voluntary reviewed a copy of The Lost Ones.
