The main characters are fierce and very stubborn. I laughed out loud many times at their stupidity and wittiness. Their chemistry was off the charts. It was like force was pulling them together! This was a fantastic MC romance that will break your heart at times and be completely frustrated at other times. Presley and Avery are absolutely fantastic characters. They both have strong armour around their hearts and don't want to let anyone in. It's how they protect themselves. Slowly but surely the armour starts to have some series cracks in it and love starts leaking out.
The chemistry these two have for each other is intense and mind-blowing. Their story took me on one amazing emotional roller coaster ride. It broke my heart but put it back together again in the end.

There is so much push and pull between 42 and Tarkan that you don’t know whether to laugh at them or be utterly frustrated with them. Tarkan is one easy going alien that you can’t help but fall in love with and 42 is his complete opposite, which makes for some very entertaining moments.

I was hooked right from the start and needed to know how Lacey's story would end - but we won't get that resolution until the next book or so. Woven into this story is some darkness, which we only get to see a bit of in book one. I have a feeling that the darkness will only increase over the next few books.

Cas and Lady were fantastic characters who were drawn to each other through the darkness of their pasts, which they carry around like a shield to their hearts and souls. Like calls to like and these two souls were crying out for their perfect other half and that is just what these two characters found in each other.
