Once I started reading, I just couldn't stop until I reached the end. Then I was disappointed that it was over. I experienced so many emotions while reading; terror, relief, joy, then terror again...you name it. I absolutely loved it. James Patterson's novels have never disappointed me. I’m so happy to have discovered Linda Juliano and her wonderful book.
I love thrillers that keep me awake long into the night because I just have to read one more chapter to find out what happens next.
The novel has a beginning that pushes the reader right into the story of Allan Roth, a man obsessed with his dead wife. She died in a way that sent chills down my spine. Unable to live without her, he started to believe that her soul was back and now lived inside the body of a woman called Josie Gianni. He was determined to get his wife back, determined to make Josie believe she belonged to him. He soon started stalking her and no place was too far. When Josie moved to Cadence Beach, so did he. He didn’t let her out of his sight. But then something unexpected happened. Josie started to fall in love with another man, Gordon Forrester. This drove the stalker mad, until he just couldn’t stand it any longer. His jealousy finally overwhelmed him and he stopped being just the man that watched from a distance. He became a very dangerous man, to both Josie and the people who cared about her.
One thing I loved about the novel is that the author also gave me a peek into the stalker’s dark, dangerous mind, allowed me to watch as he weaved his plans. But I also enjoyed following the trail that led him to the man he had become. I find that interesting because I believe that all evil has its roots somewhere.
Most of the story took place in a small, beautiful seaside town that the author brought to life with every word. I loved not only the setting but also its residents, who were very believable, interesting, and welcoming. It was a pleasure getting to know all the different characters and their surroundings.
Cadence Beach was so good that the story stayed with me long after I turned the last page. The ending left me really satisfied but still craving for more. I guess I’ll have to wait for Linda’s next novel. I’ll definitely buy it. She's a very talented author who will go very far. You will not be disappointed by Cadence Beach. I highly recommend it. ...more

The novel is about a married couple (Brandy and Weston) who were looking forward to a new baby only to discover they can never share the joy of having that baby in their lives. The baby dies and leaves Brandy and Weston crushed and their marriage crumbling. Instead of helping each other through the painful process, they push each other away. Then a great job opportunity for Weston causes them to spend time apart for a few months. This pulls their hearts even further apart and when they have a chance to speak on the phone, all they do is argue. This causes their marriage to weaken to a point that leads both husband and wife to have an affair. But as secrets don’t stay hidden forever, Brandy and Weston are finally forced to confess what they did. At first they think they are strong enough to swallow what happened and move forward, to forgive and forget. But some things are easier said than done. Despite the deep love they still share and their determination to keep fighting, there are immovable obstacles in the way of their happiness. Can they circumvent those obstacles? Do they even want to? You have to read the book to find out. I really loved this novel. The story was so deep and the people and settings so real that I felt as if I were watching a movie. I’m often drawn to novels which focus on issues that people deal with in the real world. I also appreciate novels that are more than just a story, they give the reader something to take away. Patricia Yager Delagrange gave me that and more. Patricia, you are a brilliant author and I look so much forward to reading more of your novels. If you’re a reader debating whether to buy this novel, I encourage you to go ahead. You won’t be disappointed. ...more

Pace Kelly, a stay-at-home mom, falls pregnant even though her husband had a vasectomy a few years back. There seemed to be only one explanation, that she had cheated. The thing is, she loved her husband more than anything and vehemently denied sleeping with another man. Jason refused to believe her. Instead, in his pain, he distanced himself from his marriage and hired a detective to follow Pace.
What he discovers is something so much worse. A painful discovery that could shatter everything his wife believes in.

I started off hating Jane because of what she did to Snow, but in the course of the novel the author gave me a peek into Jane's past life and helped me understand what makes her do the things she does. Why she is so addicted to evil. Before my eyes and with every word and page, E. L. Sarnoff made Jane human. Until I got to the point where my heart really went out to her.
E. L. Sarnoff is a very talented author who is very skilled at painting with words. The world (Lalaland) she created was very real, magical, and beautiful. And so inviting, I felt like one of the inhabitants.
Thank you so much E. L. Sarnoff for breathing new life into the fairytale characters from my childhood. It was a delightful reunion. The great thing about this novel is that even if it was mostly about Jane's life, at the same time all the other fairytale characters (E.g. Hook, Rumpelstilskin, Pinocchio etc.) got a fair chance to tell their own backstories.
For a while after the story ended, I felt so empty. It will be hard to start reading another book. You have no idea how much I look forward to the sequel of Dewitched.
Don't miss out on this amazing fairytale, the chance to get reacquainted with your childhood characters. Be warned though. This novel comes with one huge side effect--sleepless nights. You wouldn't want to put it down.
I'm off to add E. L. Sarnoff to my list of favorite authors. ...more

I enjoyed the survival journey the characters in the novel embarked on. It was very inspiring to see how the children put aside their own needs to form a well functioning group in order to survive. They could only do it together, drawing from their unique individual survival skills.
The characters are real, the plot clever, and the descriptions vivid. I didn’t read this novel, I experienced it. The fear, the pain, the desperation, and eventually the relief is definitely felt from page to page.
This novel was not only entertaining and inspirational; the author also gave the reader something to take with them, beyond the last full stop. This is definitely a must read for any age group. You will not be disappointed if you choose to read Rebirth. It’s incredibly well written.
The author did a fantastic job. I look forward to Debbie Brown’s future novels. ...more
