I enjoyed the strong female lead character Christina Tretton who was definitely a product of her time, from the early 18th century. Excellent plot and subplots. Liked the historical tidbits given throughout this book. Highly recommend this written masterpiece! I recommend this Illuminating Women in the Medieval World. It held my attention throughout, well-paced for the content and brought out important historical points regarding the history of women in the European society. Furthermore, enjoyed viewing the gorgeous hand-drawn illuminations from manuscripts created during the Medieval era. I thank Christine Sciacca for this book. This book delivers the author's personal experience as well as sound professional advice from those in the finance world.
This is a quick read, being a short non-fiction piece. It is not textbook dry. "Financial Revolution" is written in plain English. I did not feel bogged down by any finance field jargon while reading this book. The author Matthew A. Easterbrook definitely had the "ordinary" person in mind as his audience when he wrote this insightful work.
I highly recommend all who are financially struggling to read this. This book is a good reference tool. Even though I personally am not currently struggling financially, I learned a few things. In my opinion, "Financial Revolution" is great for anyone's at-home library. Enjoy! ...more
