My BIGGEST pet peeve about reading is when the author decides to switch perspectives WITHOUT any clear indication. Nothing is more off putting than having to stop and think about which character's point of view I'm now reading in.
I honestly don't mind if a book has multiple perspectives, but do it RIGHT or don't do it at all. Now, I'm no writer and I won't even pretend to be a master of the English language (it's my 3rd language btw), but c'mon... using different point of views and its rules are something we learned in elementary school!
Different perspectives per chapter? Great! Alternating perspectives between scenes? Super! CHANGING THE PERSPECTIVE PARAGRAPH TO PARAGRAPH, AND HECK EVEN WITHIN A SINGLE PARAGRAPH ITSELF? Hell to the fucking no!
What's even worse about this book is that with each shift in point of view, the characters somehow had knowledge/information/insight into the mind of the character whose perspective we had a few sentences ago... Umm hello, how could this person who has never even met/heard of the person they're talking to/looking at have so much in depth information about their psyche/life/problems/fucking everything? SKJSDKSKD ok I can go on forever, but I'm gonna stop here before I pop a blood vessel....more

Instead we have Max, who is hilarious, not ashamed to admit that she loves sex, is about girl power and doesn’t innately hate all other females, can kick some serious ass, and still has flaws that make her loveable and easy to root for. Sigh, I think I’m in love... *dopey grin*...more

Not oThis is one of the most poorly edited and formatted books I've ever read. The current Kindle version (10/10/17) available on Amazon is horrible! Not only is there an abundance of grammatical errors, a portion of the book looped THREE TIMES before continuing to the rest of the story. I seriously thought I was stuck in a time-warp! Basically they're at a party and things go wrong, we end up at the graveyard for the big climax, and then mid paragraph we're back at the party, then going to graveyard... and so on. Everything from around 82% to 98% was just a continuous loop.
Anyway, the premise of the book seemed interesting but the execution was terrible. The MC had some serious internalized misogyny issues that got on my nerves. It got tiring having to hear her go on and on about how it's better to have guy friends because girl friends are always catty and bitchy. None of the characters really appealed to me and their chemistry was lacklustre at best. It's a no for me....more
