I had pretty big expectations for this, but despite it having a thought-provoking and intriguing plot line, the ending was underwhelming. Too much of the big was fixated on the character and world building so then come time the conflict was introduced, the big reveal and overall finale was too rushed. I would've liked for it to be fleshed out more and give me that satisfying moment of redemption.

I don't think I loved this as much as the first two and Morrigan started to annoy me. Still, this series continues to deliver and I would still highly recommend it.

The message, storyline and characters all had potential but I'm not quite sure the execution was there. This is probably the rare occasion where I think this story would've been better as a duopoly in order to flesh things out more. A lot was jam packed into a not-so-long book and it took away from delivering what it aimed to.

I feel like this is one of those books where your thoughts and feelings will change, depending on where you're at in life, what you've experienced and overall morals and beliefs. I can see that it's not for everyone but personally, I appreciated the meaning and found this to be immensely impactful and thought-provoking. I can apply this in every day life and I'm sure I'll be coming back to this in the near future. ...more
