I've been reading his blog for a couple of years now, definitely a favorite. The blog is full of great anecdotes and conversations/dialogues with colleagues and clients. This book however feels more like an introduction to being a waiter mixed with the life story of the author. I was hoping to read more of his anecdotes, I really missed the dialogues when reading his book. A fun read nonetheless....more

The author was trying to hard, I just wanted to be entertained. When you get through more than half of the book the pace picks up but it's still slow. In the last pages he throws in some desperate twists wich were quite obvious, all the signs were there.

The finishing chapter with extras also has some interesting topics, specifically on food and veganism. Overall I picked up some interesting ideas and I will experiment a bit with what I learned. I might revisit in a couple of months to try out some other thnigs that didn't stick this time around. ...more
