Sunny doesn't want any relationship involving another male with a badge, and she very much likes her independence. Judson's dealing with his former partner's death, and Sunny reminds him of her too much. But alas, they can't fight the magnet pulling them together.
This was such a fun read. Sunny is spunky and a spitfire, taking it as well as she can dish it right back out. Judson has a heart of gold, even he believes she has no right being out on the front lines in the investigation. Christine Warner has created such wonderful, memorable characters and live long after reading their story....more

The four women: a detective, a medical examiner, a reporter, and a DA join together to solve the murders of newlyweds barely married. They go outside the rules meeting secretly to figure out who the serial killer is before the killing can take place.
Would this happen in reality? Probably not, but that's why it's called fiction. And I don't examine books in this fashion.
