I had never heard of Handley or his business before. But his story is amazing. It tells of believing. Of starting. Of succeeding. Of failing. Of starting again. Of succeeding. Of failing again. Of this continuous process. Of making a decision to follow a new path. Of following your true self. Of being greedy. Of being self-less.
And all of this so honest.
It gives you a framework to do what you want to do.
But it answers no questions you might have about what is the "right" path.
Still my favourite author and trusty for an awesome read. I have to say i was disappointed with Lamb's new book.

Its not that it was particularly bad, or lacked meaning, or anything like that. It was just that I thought it didn't pack the punch his books normally do. I thought the story wasn't as compelling, or at least not compared to his usual stories. And i found the ghosts just kind of didn't make sense. Like he just wrote what they needed to do to make his point. But didn't really consider if they were believable, which they weren't. At all.
But if you suspended your reality while reading as Lamb clearly trusts his readers to do then the story was ok. It isn't definitive with a point of view. But there's something there. Just not sure exactly what.
His style is awesome as usual. Trusting his audience to understand, and to be thinking. And he knows where to stop his book, and how to stop it. Without leaving you hanging and frustrated, but without filling in all the gaps so you can think the rest through yourself.
Like i say. Disappointed because of the standard i am used to of Lamb. But still a good read. Much shorter than his usual books. Which, right now, i am pleased about as i have very little time to dedicate to reading right now. ...more

I thought the options were: employed, or self-employed in some kinda consistent business. Reading this book excites the hell out of me!! This is what I am looking for! I'm so here there and everywhere, such a dabbler, a dreamer, and wanting to travel while earning a great income and being in control of my day. I'm self motivated, and a self developer. So im like where has this book been all my life??!! Ive been searching for someone to say, this crazy idea you have of the life you want for yourself and your family is totally do-able. And heres how. So i'm excited.
Also awesome. The activities that get you thinking. And the actually ideas to start your train of thought. The this is how you make money. This is how you promote. This is how you travel while living this life. This is how you make being free range flexible in terms of "oh shit, theres a bill that had come up, i dont need to do overtime, but i can adapt my work to cover that new expense." And the bonus are all the web links to even more of whats in the book.
