I wasn't sure how there could be a whole book about an established couple without it being dull, but it really wasn't. It was amazing.
Since this book starts out with Frank and Colin trying their best at a long distance relationship, it had this great build-up. There was pining! There was insecurity! There was longing! It was amazing.

Jason was a bit too hard to like for my tastes. I liked the idea of a guy not knowing he was married to a serial killer for 20 years, but I had a really hard time actually liking Jason.
I could totally understand his trauma and his guilt, but he really was a miserable guy for most of this book.
And I also saw the bad guy coming a mile away. As soon as he was introduced I guessed who he was and what his plan was. It wasn't too hard to figure that out.......more

I really liked this short about established couple Grayson and Spencer.
These guys have been together for 15 years and they've done a bit of this and that when it comes to BDSM.
So Grayson asking Spencer to attend a night at their BDSM club is nothing new. But Gray does seem a bit nervous about it all.
Grayson knows taking Spencer to littles night might not be the best idea to tell his husband he might want to explore age play, but he's not sure how to bring it up.
When they arrive Grayson didn't expect it to feel so right. And Spencer seems to be surprised but not angry or against the idea....
These guys were really cute. I loved all the cameos too. Grayson played with littles Caleb and Aidan and with Logan as puppy.

Lots of people have crushes on famous people. And wouldn't it be amazing if that gorgeous singer noticed you too? And that's what happens to Winter. Gentry Kane is singing his heart out on stage when he spots a man in the audience. A man he can't seem to stop thinking about.
When that man unexpectly turns out to be his physical therapist, Gent knows he got a second chance. He was sure he lost the chance to meet the pretty man when he lost him at the concert. But now he's at Gent's remote cabin, and Gentry doesn't want to let him go this time...

Mac is supposed to be a ruthless killer, but he's really a big softie inside.
When he is trying to keep an eye out for Mitch and the rest of the gang, he decides to move to the little town, since he needs to start over anyway. At least no one will be able to find him there.
Mac spots the sweet boy who owns the organic store almost immediately. He knows he can't just throw him over his shoulder and tell the boy he has claimed him, but Mac really wants to. Instead he decides to get to know the boy better so that he might want to go out on a date with Mac.
Hayley doesn't know what to make of Mac. He thinks he might like Hayley, since he comes into the store every day to chat. But he hasn't ever made a move, or asked Hayley out.
And Hayley isn't even sure if Mac is a daddy. And since Hayleys really wants a daddy, he knows he cannot date someone who isn't willing to take care of Hayley and his little side.
So when Mac still hasn't asked Hayley out, Hayley knows he has to make the first move...
These guys were quite cute together. I loved sweet Hayley, and awkward Mac was hilarious at times.
I also really loved that Mac had to take care of Hayley when he broke his arm.
I did want just a bit more age play, since we didn't get quite that much in this. But that was also because Hayley wasn't a fulltime little.
As usual the editing was pretty bad. And it really annoyed me that every time anyone talked about being a little, it was written in cursive:
Being little made Hayley happy.
He had both his little and big clothes hanging in the spare bedroom, and more coloring books than any boy would ever need.
When Hayley spotted something that spoke to his little side, he had to have it.

I’m all for the big romance between soulmates and the having dreams about them before you meet sounds incredibly romantic.
Unfortunately it often felt confusing too. But that wasn’t even why this book wasn’t a huge hit for me. That was mostly because I never got a good feel for Taylor. Or Jackson even.
This entire book revolves around them speaking in riddles with each other and referencing to dreams in which they already knew each other.
I never quite bought the romance because all their interactions were like this. I get it, they want to be together, they finally found each other, but why exactly do they love each other?
I couldn’t quite figure out what kind of people they were. Taylor felt very one dimensional to me, and Jackson just had a lot of confusion going on.
I wanted more than out of their interactions than just confusion, talking about the weirdness of the dreams, or sex.
I also thought it was a bit strange how Taylor told Jackson he had been dreaming about him his entire life, but when they meet Taylor is all aloof. I would have expected him to at least have some sort of reaction to finally meeting the man of his dreams (literally).
This book focusses heavily on the confusion and overlapping realities, but what should have felt intriguing just felt confusing to me a lot of the times.
I think if we got more character development and more depth in the relationship itself, I would have loved this book. Now it was just meh....more

My favorite scene was when Neil was doing the news broadcast from home because of the storm and things didn't quite go smoothly...
Everything was going as fine as could be expected until partway into the second hour, when a super-loud peal of thunder sounded directly overhead. Pops screamed and threw himself out of his chair, using his hands to pull himself in a belly crawl toward the door with a terrified expression on his face. He was shouting something about Charlie, crawling for his life. Both cats jumped on the table and raced directly in front of the camera. Then they leaped back down and knocked over the green screen, which crashed into the china hutch behind me, sending several thousand dollars worth of dinnerware to the floor. Unfortunately, the sound whipped Pops into an even worse frenzy. Forgetting all about my fun pajama pants and the two undone buttons at the bottom of my shirt, I lurched to my feet. Brody looked flummoxed for the first time since I had known him. He glanced back and forth between me and his father, as if trying to decide who needed his help more. (..) “Sorry about the commotion over here, Brittany. For the viewers paying attention, the fine hunk of man you saw not merely protects me but is also my boyfriend. I promise we aren’t in the habit of throwing old men on the floor. The briefly seen gentleman was Brody’s father—a Vietnam veteran who served his country proudly in its hour of need and, like so many other soldiers, has invisible, permanent wounds. As for my choice in apparel, I will fight anyone who works at home and swears they don’t take advantage of wearing sweats or PJs on the bottom. As long as it’s business on top, yeah?”

I just love these guys and I couldn’t wait to see how Adam would finally get his HEA.
It’s been years since Adam got hit on the head when he got attacked in Morgan’s apartment, but Adam still has absence seizures. Most people don’t even notice when they happen, but some last longer so they’re more obvious.
Adam is tired of his MC brothers treating him with kid gloves. So he feels it’s time to move out and share an apartment with Mick, who is still recovering from getting attacked by his ex. This was they can both help each other out.
When Adam meets hot police officer Tyson one day, when he is working in his friend’s store, he is immediately attracted to the dark man. They unexpectedly have a lunch hookup and both men would love a repeat.
But Adam thinks Tyson is just interested in sex, and he is not about to reveal his condition, because he just knows Tyson will suddenly be too careful with him….
I was so happy that this book was as sweet as it was. I was afraid these guys would do the friends with benefits thing, but Tyson made sure Adam knew he was more of a relationship guy.
Of course there was this major thing between them, but it never felt like Adam’s angst about it was fake or fabricated to insert some issues between the couple. And I could even understand Tyson getting mad about Adam hiding it from him. I was just glad it didn’t last long.
I thought this was a perfect last book. And I can’t wait for a spin-off....more

Like for example I never really bought Shea’s modeling career. It felt really strange. He was a cowboy born and raised, and then he was a model too. He enjoyed the country life, but sometimes went off on photoshoots. Of course that could happen, but I constantly felt like the modeling was an afterthought. It was like, oh yes, we need to insert something to make it work for Shea to want to travel to the city and be with Jake. The modeling is mentioned often but almost like this abstract thing. Not like something Shea actually enjoyed and wanted to continue doing.
I had a really hard time getting a feel for these guys and that became more of an issue for me as I read on.

I really liked that Maddox was the younger daddy, while Sebastian was slightly older, took care of his daughter, but was still a boy. I loved that this was never an issue between them.
I was afraid these guys would try to keep is casual, since Maddox starts off by telling himself he doesn't want a relationship. But that goes out the window soon enough, and before he knows it he's in a relationship with sweet Sebastian and loving it.

At first I wasn't impressed at all. I even put it down and thought about quitting altogether. But I'm glad I stuck with it. Because suddenly I found myself enjoying the story more and more. I ended up liking it enough to give it a solid 4 stars.
At first I was a bit annoyed at the whole ‘let’s be friends with benefits so I can teach you some sexy moves’ trope. But once Max invites Jeremy to his house for Christmas it got so much better.
I really liked how sweet these guys were with each other. Jeremy was such a shy nerdy guy, I loved him. But I liked Max the most. He was sweet and patient and just the perfect boyfriend really.
I’m also very allergic to the whole ‘let’s not tell each other how we really feel’ thing, but I was so happy that it didn’t happen like that here. It was obvious there were feelings involved for both of them. Sure, there is a part where they agree they should maybe put things on pause for a while, but that didn’t really last that long.

I really did like the overall sweetness of this. Sanders was absolutely adorable, and his daddy Briggs was perfect for him.
I liked the friendship between Sanders and Leo as well. How they got drunk and decided now would be a good time to make that door by putting a hammer through the wall of the coffeeshop…
Sanders is having a hard time juggling everything in his life. He tries to run the coffeeshop his sick mother can’t run anymore, he tries to complete his college degree, and he tries to not be so awkward every time a hot older guy comes into the coffeeshop.
But when 40 year old Briggs walks into the cute coffeeshop in his new town, he is immediately charmed when the awkward Sanders drops a tray of coffee when he spots Briggs.
But it seems that Sanders can’t really relax enough around him to have a decent conversation, but Briggs keeps trying.
Except no matter how cute the coffeeshop barista is, he is probably not into the same kink Briggs likes. Briggs wants a boy who he can spoil and take care of.
And that’s why Briggs tries the kink app he installed a while ago.
He immediately hits it off with the cutest boy named Awkward_and_Adorable and they start texting.
In the meantime Sanders is head over heels for this daddy he met on Cuff’d, but of course neither knows they are really talking to each other…
I absolutely loved the scene when they find out who they’ve been talking to. That was just adorable!
This whole book was pretty adorable actually. I loved how Briggs helped Sanders being more confident and kept praising him.

There were several thing that bothered me about this story.
- It was a bit too sugary sweet for me. I like a sweet book, but this was just too much for me. - Sterling’s low self-esteem got on my nerves. At first I was all on board because it made for some lovely hurt/comfort. But eventually I thought Sterling needed more than just a loving daddy, he needed a good therapist. - I’ve read several books where someone wears a cock cage, but not as extensively as in this. Barrett puts a cock cage on Sterling and then doesn’t touch him for two weeks. And he kept telling Sterling they should take it slow. Now that’s just not my kink. Cock cage fine, but take it off occasionally and have sex to keep things interesting. - I was hoping the story would be just as intriguing as the blurb, but I was pretty bored for most of this book. Neither Sterling nor Barrett could hold my interest.
K.M. Neuhold is pretty hit or miss for me, and I’m disappointed that this was a miss. :(

I liked this more than I thought I would.
When Judah suddenly has a vertigo attack during an important ballet performance, he finds out he has Meniere’s disease. Now his entire career is over in a heartbeat. He has worked to become a very successful ballet dancer for almost his entire life. But now he has to return home to help his brother and their mother with the mussel farm.
But home is not a good place for him. It’s the place where Judah has been severely bullied for years when he was younger. Even his brother seems to hate him.
But then there is Morgan, the fisheries officer he encounters one night on the pier, who turns out is friends with Judah’s brother.
Morgan and Judah agree that despite the obvious attraction they should try to be friends. Judah isn’t in a place in his life right now to start anything. And even though Morgan is, Morgan agrees to be friends.
But it’s not long before they both acknowledge that friendship is harder than they thought when they obviously both want more…
I really liked these guys. Judah was a bit of an asshole at first, but it was clear from the start that it was just a defense mechanism and that he had a had time coping with the Meniere’s and how it affected everything in his life.
Morgan had this solid presence that Judah really needed in his life. I thought they were perfect for each other.
I did think there were too many sex scenes. But I solved that by simply skimming them.

The humor started to feel forced and I felt like these guys were just dumb (or the reader was supposed to be dumb, I'm not sure). With things I figured out from page 10, that took them almost the entire book. Obvious things like, hey, could it be drugs that kept Dellan from shifting back to human? And could it be that Dellan’s brother (the bad guy), the head of the PHARMACEUTICAL company, made this drugs???
And I kept wondering if someone was going to bring up the fact that Dellan was gay, but got female shifters thrown in his cage with which he instantly mated as a tiger. No one was really questioning why this was.
I get that this is a series and we didn’t get all the answers with this book, but these guys were supposed to be super intelligent, but they simply never questioned some things.
I’m not really a fan of books where the reader is treated as unintelligent. When every single clue is explained.
I did like the first half and I was really rooting for these 3 guys. Although I didn’t like Horvan. The way he let things slip about him having a very healthy sex life before he found his mates was just distasteful. I think it was supposed to make him funny or endearing with his boyish act, but I just thought he was stupid and inconsiderate.

I deleted it from my KindI usually write a review right after I finish a book. I read this last week and don't even rememember all the details now! :(
I deleted it from my Kindle so that means I didn't want to re-read it when I finished it.
I do remember liking certain hurt/comfort aspects in this, but that I couldn't quite get over how unrealistic some situations were.
Like, if you are going to have one of the guys hurt so that the other one can come to the rescue, I need to at least have a believable villain. Not Ben encountering some guys from past out on the streets, without any introduction, then have them beat him up only for his former stepfather kidnapping him from the hospital to torture him.
I wasn't sold on this entire thing. I could understand Ben coming across some old nemesis on the streets, but here it felt way too fabricated.
The same with the stepfather. Ben has just been severely beaten, yet he gets discharged from the hospital, while he couldn't even walk on his own, and having his evil stepfather supporting him, even though Ben was telling people he didn't want to go with him. I had a hard time believing that would ever happen like that. If a patient is too out of it to make sense, you don't just stand by while someone drags the patient out of the hospital....
So while I don't remember a lot about the romance or the rest of the story, I kept thinking that the writing wasn't the best and that it pulled me out of the story several times....more

We met Riley as WI'm not really a fan of the former drug-addict storyline, but I did like that Riley and Gabriel found each other again after 4 years.
We met Riley as Will’s make-up artist in the previous book and knew he had been a drug addict when he was younger.
When Riley was 19 he let a sadistic Dom use him to get a roof over his head and provide him with heroin. There was another boy in the house, who looked after Riley sometimes. Riley only knew him as Angel. When Riley was 19, Angel put him on a bus to some distant relatives to help him get clean.
It is now 4 years later and Riley is still in love with Angel, even though he has never been able to find him.
When Will takes Riley with him to the resort where his friends live, Riley is shocked to find his Angel again. Angel, who is named Gabriel, is working there and doing good.
The two are immediately close again and neither wants to let the other one go.
When Riley kisses Gabriel, Gabriel acts shocked, and he tells Riley he wants to take it slow.
But when Riley needs to go to San Francisco to finish his job at Will’s movie, Gabriel wants to go with him. Even though San Francisco might not be safe for them with their former Dom still looking for them…..
This was a nice, light read, but I was also a bit bored. I liked these guys, but I can’t say they had real personalities to be honest.
And I was kind of curious to see how they would solve the 'issue' about them both being bottoms. And it could totally be me, but I thought the sex scene with the dildos was incredibly awkward. It was almost at the end of the book and felt more like an afterthought to me. That surprised me because Riley made such a big deal out of it for most of the book.

I’m not really a fan of D/s books these days, but since it’s Jayda Marx I was curious to see how she could make this story super fluffy. And of course it was. It was so sugary sweet that my teeth hurt. But when I’m in the right mood I can really enjoy her books.
Franklin is 21 years old and has had several masters. But no master seems to want to keep him, so he gets discarded once again. And when he loses his job his half-brother/landlord tells him he will no longer rent to him, so he’s out on the streets again.
But when Franklin gets assaulted outside a restaurant by an over-eager Dom, he gets rescued by a hot older guy and his streak of bad luck finally seems to end.
Shawn is very happy for his best friend Holden and his little, Ollie, but he’s also a bit jealous. He really wants a boy of his own, but he hasn’t had any luck on that front. So when he meets the sweet young man outside a restaurant after a dom got rough with him, he knows he has to somehow convince the young man to stay with him….
As all Jayda Marx’s books this was insta-love on crack. The I love yous were flying around after 24 hours, and it surprised me Shawn didn’t propose after 2 days. But I knew this going in, so I was ready for it. And I enjoyed it. I thought Frankie was cute, and Shawn was a very sweet master.
There was some BDSM stuff, but I skimmed those parts since I don’t really like that in my books anymore.

I'm really liking this series about these college guys finding their inner daddy or boy.
I do have to admit that there is always a part of Quinn Ward's books that drags a bit for me. It usually picks up after that but sometimes it's just a little... dull.
We met Jayden and Chase in the first book where they were trying find their way in their new daddy/boy relationship. And it is there that we met Brandon and Matt, two of their roommates, who suddenly started to date after years of friendship.
I thought the transition from friends to lovers between Brandon and Matt felt a little too easy here. There was some hesitation at first on Matt's part, but once he got over that it was like they had been boyfriends for years. And that felt just a bit too unrealistic.
I liked how low angst Quinn Ward writes and I really like how these couples start exploring daddy kink/age play. Matt was not the cute adorable boy that Chase was, but he was still a sweet, but sassy boy. And once Brandon finally learnt to just go with the flow I really liked him too.
