This book gave me THE CHILLS. What an unexpected, emotionally charged Release Date: May 14, 2019 Genre: Contemporary Romance Actual Rating: 5 stars
This book gave me THE CHILLS. What an unexpected, emotionally charged, and gorgeous ending to an amazing duet! I haven't read anything by M. Robinson prior to this duet but that will be changing immediately! I want to get to know the secondary characters who have their own stories from previous series and I also want Jackson and Harley's story which is set to release this year! Gosh, I adored how this ended. I laughed, squealed, and threw my hands in the air because of the excitement is brought me! My only issue is that I am sad Cami and Aiden's story is finished. I fell hard for these two and I am definitely going to miss them. Hopefully they will make some appearances in the next one...
With that being said, this is a wonderful duet! It has all the feels. It sent chills down my spine when I finally got to the point where Aiden shared what happened to Bailey. Everything made so much sense after that and I applaud the author for the unique spin she put on the book. This is a damn good duet and now that it is complete I highly recommend readers get them both. This is one of those duets you don't want to miss! It's outstanding!...more

I wanted to love The Day She Cried. I have read so many fabu Release Date: October 17, 2017 Genre: New Adult. Bully Romance. Actual Rating: 3 stars
I wanted to love The Day She Cried. I have read so many fabulous reviews for the novel and knew it was right up my alley. The blurb is very vague though, so I didn't know too much going into it, only that there was some sort of bully romance going on between two of the characters. *I freakin LOVE bully romances* -- In this sense, the book was really good. The hero (Rome) is super mean to the heroine (Courtney) and does everything he can to make her life a living hell. He does have a reason for it though, and while I don't condone his actions, I can see WHY he is like this. If you want to know you can read this spoiler... (view spoiler)[Courtney was catfishing his sister who later killed herself. (hide spoiler)] Aside from the bullying aspect though, I found the book to have some flaws I couldn't look past.
First and foremost, this book has such a strong message and tone. When one is writing a book with such an emotional core it needs to be handled with care and not be rushed. Unfortunately, it IS rushed within the book. One moment the two hate each other because of everything that happened and the next they are in love. It didn't seem realistic in the scheme of things. There should have been a lot more angst, and a hell of a lot more communication to the READER as to why their feelings changed so quickly. I honestly felt like their feelings came out of nowhere and it put a bad taste in my mouth. For me, a story (especially one like this) needs to feel realistic and it unfortunately did NOT.
Secondly, there were jumps in time in a few of the chapters that left me feeling like I missed a huge part of the story that should have been told. For instance, Courtney finally gets into college (which wasn't an wasn't feat by the way (view spoiler)[she is a felon because she was convicted in court of playing a part in Rome's sisters death (hide spoiler)], she's had a falling out with Rome for months (about 4-5 to be exact) and he all the sudden comes back and is begging her to take him back? WHY! I needed to see the changes in him in terms of how he went from thinking she was a liar to trusting her again. A small paragraph of an explanation wasn't enough for me (hence, why I felt this part was rushed).
POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD
Finally, what happened with Courtney's conviction? When the truth finally came out, shouldn't her conviction and felony been overturned? I needed to know! I feel like such a huge chunk of the story was left out (and it's a major part!). I believe it's slightly mentioned, but nowhere near what I would have wanted to know. Again, too rushed.
I'm truly not trying to pick apart the novel. I love K. Webster and have really enjoyed many of her novels but this one was lacking in so many areas that I could't see past them. I am giving it three stars mostly because the message in the story is VERY strong. It's the execution that needs work in my opinion. Other than this, I recommend reading others reviews as well because so many people loved this book to pieces. It just wasn't a favorite of mine. ...more

Visiting Normal, Kentucky is always a wonderful experience! Tonya Kappes writ Release Date: May 28, 2019 Genre: Cozy Mystery Actual Rating: 5 stars
Visiting Normal, Kentucky is always a wonderful experience! Tonya Kappes writes the heck out of this town and I love everything; the characters, the setting, the mystery, and even the romance that is beginning to form nicely between Hank and Mae. If there were ever a fictional town I would be able to visit this would be it- hands down! The people of Normal are just so sweet, tight-knit, and friendly. Not only that, the small town feels just speak to me. If it weren't for Tonya's ability to write the way she does I wouldn't feel this way. So thank you!
Hitches, Hideouts, & Homicides is the 7th book in the Camper & Criminals series. Each book does feature a new mystery but I personally recommend reading these books in order as the characters grow in each book (especially in the romance department). In this one, Mae stumbles on yet another dead body while hanging out with the gang at a local hoedown. Unfortunately, that's not where it ends though. Mae simply can't help but stick her nose in the investigation and with a little help from the ladies at the Laundry Club she may just find out who the killer is.
Readers, this is one of my FAVORITE cozy series and I highly recommend it to all that read the genre! Tonya brings the town of Normal, Kentucky to life! You can practically feel the sunshine on your back and hear the laughter from the people! It's that good! Then, when a little mystery is thrown in you become consumed with finding the killer just as Mae does. It's just perfect! So make sure to grab your copy of this one releases on May 28th!...more

WOW! This is probably one of my FAVORITE duets but that ending ROCKED Release Date: May 23, 2019 Genre: Contemporary Romance Actual Rating: 5 stars
WOW! This is probably one of my FAVORITE duets but that ending ROCKED me. It was so unexpected that I gasped out loud! AH! Now I need Truly Mine as the end of this book sets us up for that one! Kennedy Fox... You are either evil or genius LOL! Anyway, Baby Yours is a wonderful novel and I loved continuing the journey with Hunter and Lennon from Baby Mine. These two captures my heart from the get-go and I couldn't be more pleased with how their personal story ended. It was hard in the beginning for me because their story took me on an emotional roller-coaster but it ended exactly as I would have wanted. I am really going to miss them! Hopefully we will see more of them in Mason and Sophie's story (coming next!).
If you haven't had the pleasure of reading the first book in this duet; Baby Mine: Hunter & Lennon, #1 the you are going to need to before reading Baby Yours. This is a duet that is meant to be read in order as it follows Hunter and Lennon's love story through both books. If you HAVE read it then you are in for a treat with Baby Yours! Kennedy Fox gives their readers all the feels and I swear I swooned for Hunter even more than I did in the first book! There is just something about a man who goes after what he wants that does me in! I won't get into the plot as it would spoil the duet for potential readers but I will say that it is everything romance readers want and need in their books! You will swoon, laugh, cry, and LIVE these characters to the very last page. Falling in love with both of them isn't hard and I know many people are going to adore these two just as much as I did. Sigh... So good!
If you are in the mood for an emotional but sweet and sexy romance duet then this is a must read for you! Be warned though once you start you will be hooked and have a hard time stopping once you start to read. I read /devoured this book in one day (today) and still want more! Gosh, I just can't wait for the next one! ...more

WHAT IS HAPPENING! OMG this book (and series) is taking me through the r Release Date: May 28, 2019 Genre: New Adult Romance Actual Rating: 5 stars
WHAT IS HAPPENING! OMG this book (and series) is taking me through the ringer! I knew there were going to be secrets, lies, and betrayals but I didn't realize just how MUCH it was going to affect me! Damn, Meagan! You have written an ANGST fest here... And quite frankly? I LOVE IT! Trouble at Brayshaw High is the second book in the Brayshaw series and MUST be read in order. Make sure to read Boys of Brayshaw High PRIOR to this one. If you are a fan of young adult/ new adult romances with dark elements then this is a MUST read for you. It's actually one of my FAVORITE series of all time so I HIGHLY recommend it!
In this installment, Rave, Maddoc, Royce, and Captain are back! Only this time, we learn a little bit more about them, their family ties, and what they will do for the one they love. The cliffhanger from book 1 is explained (thank GOD) and makes sense in terms of the overall plot twist (which is crazy and twisted!). Readers will still be left with unanswered questions as this one will be continued into the next book, but is satisfying enough that you can fully enjoy this story! The title of the book is also very fitting for this one. There IS trouble at Brayshaw... And you are in for the ride of your life!
I won't be getting into plot details as this book (and series) must be read to fully understand everything going on, but I will say this is an AWESOME addition to the series and is a MUST read! I devoured this book in 24 hours even though I had so much adulting to do. I just couldn't stop reading. Every second I had some free time I picked this book up and continued where I left off. It's THAT good. <3...more
