I cant wait for this book to drop but I'm also filled with reluctance because it is the end of a GREAT series. I know without a doubt that it will go out with a bang and in accordance to the rich world that Ms. Vincent has created.
I love Faythe and Marc as a couple (I'd take Faythe myself), but Jace has stolen my heart and I am rooting for him to come out on top, but I dont see it happening.
October never seemed so far away.....
October is here...
OK, I have the book and I read it in 2 days. I would have finished it sooner if I didn't have to work.
This was a fitting end to an EXCELLENT series. I miss Faythe already and can hardly believe that the ride Mrs. Vincent has taken us on, is over.
I'm not going to write a spoiler lad review, I love reading them but not so fond of writing them. But I will say this; every loose end gets tied. The struggle to get them tied is HUGE for Faythe.
If you are a fan of this series, You WILL cry, and you will cry more than once. The love triangle is one of the best written and most real, that I have seen in a long time. Faythe doesn't shy away from the love she feels for either man, even thought it's killing the three of them. And she's not ashamed for loving the both of them. In the end, the decision of whom to choose is almost made for her.
BRAVO MRS. VINCENT, for writing such a memorable character!! ...more

Every authors take on supernatural creatures varies. Moira Rogers werewolves are definitely at the head of the pack! I love the female characters, but I must admit that Brynn is my favorite of the Adler sisters.
Abby is a very good alpha wolf, but sometimes I like rooting for the underdog. I like the fact that Brynn has to overcome her nature to be the strong female that she wants to be. Add that to the fact that she's a type of wolf that generally doesn't survive the way she was turned. Brynn is definitely the kind of character that I like pulling for.
The only thing that was a bit of a downer was the lack of shifting in the first book. How can you write a werewolf novel with no shifting? There was action, but now wolves. But other than that, the story lines were pretty good in both.
I am most certainly a fan now, and cant wait to get the next books in the series....more

This was a very good ending to the initial trilogy. The book tired up a few loose ends, but left enough hanging that we are eagerly awaiting the next installment of the series. I SO SO Love Chloe and Derek together, I'm a little sorry for Simon but he will find the right girl for him. Derek, you go boy. I was so hoping that he wasn't going to be messed up from the experiments, glad that he finally went all the way. If you read the books then you know what I'm talking about :-).
Tori, ow wow. Not to write too much spoilerage but, I think both Tori and Simon should have been told that they are siblings, especially after their father showed up in the end and her mother got offed, but hey, it only leaves me panting for another book. To be honest, I never saw that twist coming.
If you're a fan of Armstrong's Otherworld series but haven't checked out this YA addition to her world, then do yourself a favor and read them. You wont be disappointed. If you are a fan of the books already, then I'm sure you're waiting for The Gathering just like I am....more
Number 13 was anything but unlucky for the 13th installment of the Argeneau Vampire series from Ms. Sands. I have read every book in this series and aNumber 13 was anything but unlucky for the 13th installment of the Argeneau Vampire series from Ms. Sands. I have read every book in this series and after buying it two days ago, I hardly put it down until I was finished with it. I was glad to see the mystery of the dying wives / life mates finally solved.
As for Eshe and Armand as lifemate's, it was rather nice seeing a couple accept that they belong together from the start, instead of some poor mortal (or uninformed immortal) having to accept the truth of what their potential mate is.
Small bit of spoilerage: Eshe has 6 kids, and with all the life threatening situations she was thrown into in this book, it would have been nice to see one of them, especially at the end, or at the very least, a little more description about them from Eshe. But I hope the readers can look forward to them as a new addition on the Argeneau family tree, and possible fodder for more books in the future.
All in all this was a great addition to a wonderful series that I am totally hooked on....more

I'm not big on doing long drawn out reviews that are loaded with spoilers. If you're already a fan, than this book wont disappoint you. If you're not a fan, WHAT'S THE HOLDUP?
My only gripe with the entire thing...I WANT Rachel and Ivy together as a couple!!! ...more
