But first, Hero and Ranger will have to work through the pain and hurt that tore them apart in the first place.
I loved the plot that this book took on; one that brings together two very hurt people that once loved each other more than anything. But along the way jealousy and miscommunication overrode that love and resulted in a break up and hurt that lasted a decade. Had Garrison not used his will, these two may never have crossed paths again. Both would have moved on without ever knowing the truth behind their break up. Both would have probably married someone even though their hearts still belonged to someone else.
Will Garrison’s last will be enough to help Hero and Ranger work through their past? Or will their painful past keep them apart forever? This is one you have to pick up and seek the answers yourself. 4 Stars! ...more

AndWhen asked if I would be interested in reading FIFTY FROGS, I knew I had to. I loved the idea that this book was about and knew it had to be good. And when I was reading, I couldn't help but laugh (numerous times) at all the crazies Vivian met while trying to write an article on the joys (or lack thereof) of dating frogs while in search of her prince. She is such a fun, quirky character and you really get a feel for her quirkiness at the very start of the book. She will definitely have you smiling all throughout the book.
And Charlie, I just love him. I love how both he and Vivian find they are both in very similar situations; living arrangements, employment, and dating life. It was such a joy to watch them fall for one another in the midst of everything. So, so cute!!
I really had a hard time putting this book down. I would constantly wonder what crazy scenario and/or crazy guy Vivian would find next. I looked forward to it and the silliness that would surely ensue.
Fun plot, hilarious dating hijinks, and one adorable meet cute… FIFTY FROGS was such a good read. If you are looking for your next beach read or late night read, I think you may have just found it. 4 Stars!...more

I am not sure why I waited so long after the release of this episode to read it. Most likely I knew that a lot would go down, a lot would lead me to epic feels, and a lot would have me begging for the next episode to come quickly. I also know that the end is nearing quickly and the fear of that is gripping. I have loved this series from the moment I happened upon it not long after Higginson released it ever so quietly. A release she never even made fanfare for in the beginning. To me, this has been my most favorite zombie series I have ever read. A series I know I will happily reread when it is all said and done just to experience the feels once more.
Page and Miller find themselves in a whole world of trouble. What's new, right? Only this time hope is dim and I am not sure the Parker boys will be able to swoop in a save the day. I honestly think that it will fall on Page and Miller to end Matthias once and for all. I truly think that when his end comes, and it is coming, it will be them that get to successfully end it. But I am looking forward to the battle that is about to throw down and I am looking forward to it happening Parker style.
Raise of hands...who else is loving and digging Page post-secondary zombie bite? She is feeling all out of sorts and definitely not human'ish. And I got to say, I love it. It's a dark, grittier version of her former self and a whole lot of grade A bad A**!!! Throw in a smidge of romance from Miller man and you have yourself one powerful punch of an episode. It was fabulous all the way around!
The end may be nearing, a battle is definitely brewing, and I am kicking back and getting the tissues in hand waiting for the emotions that are bound to spill from the next several episodes as we bring this zombie reign to an end. 5 Stars!! ...more

I absolutely adored this amazing, magical world that Miller created. While it did start out a bit slow for me, I soon became entranced as the pace quickened and this incredible story progressed. So many questions get asked and only a few get answered. But it kept me intrigued the whole last half. I didn't even care that we didn't get all the answers we seek. It has me eager to find them out in the next book.
Vala was such a fabulous character. One I have not ever seen written before, making her as unique as the storyline itself. I wondered about where she came from, what she was, and what the future held for her. When she meets Xavyn, he awakens all these questions as well. Always accepting what she was told, Vala now wants to know where she came from and who she is.
What I didn't care for, or I should say who I didn't care for, was Prince Caulden. From the start I didn't feel any connection to him or even cared if he was to live or die and it stayed that way throughout the book. I wasn't surprised toward the end of the story when he acted and reacted the way he did. I sort of wanted to yell "told you so." Well, I may have mumbled it to myself, I just didn't yell it.
I look forward to more of this story and where it is headed. There is so much we have to figure out and have answered. 4 Intriguing, Magical and Mysterious Stars! ...more

From the moment I started this book I was sucked in. There was something about it; like it held this magical claim over me. Even though it is a contemporary romance, I felt something almost supernatural lurking behind the walls of the old Bed and Breakfast. I felt the secrets whispering to be heard and it called to me as well as the characters. I had this need to read whenever I had the chance and hated when I couldn’t. It was one of the greatest feelings a book could give a reader.
HAPPY TRUTH ABOUT LOVE is a spin off from the Island County Series. One of my most favorite series ever. And when I started this one, I realized I never read the last one to that series yet. In that book we are introduced to the first of the North boys, Kyle. I must rectify this problem immediately!
At the beginning of the book we meet Joel North. And it is quite comical how it all unfolds. He steps in to save the day with his new neighbor, Autumn and her, umm, friend? But all the drama sure made for an interesting start to a new series and getting to meet another one of Bolton’s fabulous men. Joel is caring, funny, charming (definitely charming)…he is the complete package and I just loved him.
I adored Autumn’s spunky little self just as much. Not only is she trying to restore the old Bed and Breakfast, she is looking forward to her new adventure in Silver Ridge and seeing where this new relationship with Joel may lead. Along the way she is piecing together bits and pieces of a life she had shut off from her and the secrets she uncovers will explain much of her family’s past.
HAPPY TRUTH ABOUT LOVE was so absolutely amazing and most definitely alluring. It was fun and it was romantic. It held my attention and beckoned me when I was away. Bolton has put me under another one of her bookish spells with this stunning and delightful new series. I look forward to who all gets a story and what will come from it all. 5 Stars! ...more

I wished I could read his thoughts to know what was running through his mind when he looked at me like that. There wasn't any way to really describe it. It wasn't any one emotion I could pin point. It was everything all at once, drowning me in an ocean of sensations of which I never wanted to let go. ***
Callie knew becoming queen was her destiny and it wouldn't be easy. But with talk of bonding to royalty and now death threats, well, these were things she did not sign up for.
My love for Callie and Kai grew to new heights in EMBER. Their interactions and banter was a lot of what I loved about them. They kept it fun but it was meaningful to the core. And my heart broke each and every time they realized that nothing could ever come from their feelings for one another. Unless Callie was able to change the laws that have been in place for thousands of years and face the wrath of those in her kingdom that still believe it is wrong to bond outside their own, it was fruitless to hope. Such a quandary.
When reading this book there was always this lurking and nudging that something is about to happen and it kept me on edge the entire time. It is amazing how Hayes pulls you in, keeps you teetering on what may come, and then smacks you with a load of WOW! And boy was it a WOW! It got me crazy excited to read LUMINARY. I just need to hurry and read some books so I can concentrate solely on it.
So many what if’s…so much left up in the air...I am so loving this series. 5 Stars!! ...more

I absolutely love reading books that revolve around a fake something or another. Especially fake boyfriend/girlfriend. There is so much good that could come from this circumstance and so much that could go wrong with it as well. Charles did a great job playing on all the wrongs and rights that seemed to explode from such a little white lie. I happily devoured every ounce of this read. I couldn’t get enough.
There were some parts concerning a few characters and how they all tie together that seemed too convenient for the plot, almost like the author was reaching in those areas to make it work. I sort of wished the author had left it out because it made the story come off as unbelievable. At least to me. That seemed to be my only fault with the book.

Having someone hold me close and dip their head in to kiss my neck as we slow danced wasn’t either. I wanted that so bad; I craved it. **
This was my first book by Loveday and I have to say it was a great read. I have promoted her books in the past and the covers have pulled me in. But I never had the time to read because of other commitments. Thankfully that wasn't the case with this book. I immediately signed up once I read the blurb. And so very glad I did. I look forward to more books by this amazing author.
I adored the main characters but did not adore their confusing way of thinking when it came to one another. I hated that they thought they knew the other so well, but couldn't figure out that the love they shared for one another was the real deal and not just one sided. I know they didn't want to lose the friendship, but honestly, it was plain as day. I internally screamed at them, willing them to hurry and figure it all out before it was too late. And then too late came.
** But there were times when I saw him out of the corner of my eye and it left me breathless. He was everything I was looking for, but couldn’t have because I knew I wasn’t it for him. **
Poor Gracen goes through so much in this book. If she would have found her happily ever after with Slade at the start, then there would have been no story to tell. But watching her endure heartbreak and pain just about broke me. She didn't deserve it. No one does. I felt the author handled everything wonderfully; even giving info at the end for those that may need it.
Another character I became quite attached to was Lucy, Gracen's dog. I am pretty sure I have never loved a character's pet, like I do her. Sweet and smart as a whip, Lucy stole the show several times.
I absolutely enjoyed this amazing, quick read. It keeps you pulled in and has you never wanting to put it down. So yeah, it’s unputadownable!! And I am looking forward to more stories to come from this book. Maybe Lex will get a turn next? 5 Stars!
