I LOVED it! It was steamy, witty and kept me thoroughly amused from the first page to the last.
Who says one cannot do anything like this? Truth is, II LOVED it! It was steamy, witty and kept me thoroughly amused from the first page to the last.
Who says one cannot do anything like this? Truth is, I got excited when some parts of this was posted on Ms. Eve's Fan Page (Oh hell yes, I'm a fan!) It is not an overstatement to say I’ve been waiting for this for a long while. When I read that Ms. Eve was writing a story roughly based upon the documentary entitled “Virgins Wanted”, I didn't know how she’d pull it off. Boy, did she bring it. Paperback please!
Anyways, Valenna Jones is a good girl gone wild. Your mother won't let you watch her if you are a kid-- as a matter of fact, even if you're already 36. You can compare her to Miley except that she doesn't do drugs, she was a VIRGIN and she doesn't stick her tongue out every time, she was way wittier too. She was an internet darling, which was why she used it to auction her cherry to the highest bidder.Talk about losing her V-card in the most unorthodox way. Well, she believes that everything has a price. Who would believe that the cherry that she was about to lose was being bought for 50 million dollars? YES! 50-freakin-insane-dollars.The ‘ANONYMOUS’ bidder can’t wait to claim his prize and wanted her for himself so he made a short cut. She went to see Valenna.
One look at GianeFranco she knew that he was a man she can't deny. It was very obvious that they were hot for each other.
It was an understatement to say that GianneFranco was handsome, he was a walking demi god. The 50 million dollars he paid for Valenna’s cherry didn’t even leave a dent in his bank account. WEALTHY? Very. Though, GF got some issues with being ‘second best’ at least in Valenna’s cherry (if she gives in) he was first…
I saw GianeFranco as a possessive and frustrated hero. He gets what he wants and nobody---nobody can ever be in his way. Well, except from my boyfriend Drew Arroyo. He hated him for claiming his throne. Ah, GF’s glory days were over.
Furious, he went to the villa and watched TV. Yes, it was the TV’s fault that he knew about Valenna’s insane offer. He was instantly struck by how much he wanted Valenna.
Of course, this is Ms. Eve Montelibano, so expect naughtily delightful, scorching-ly sexy, toe-curling scenes with some over the edge dirty talk from GianeFranco. Certainly not for the fainthearted.
CLIFFHANGER. Yes, I almost cried when it ended and left me craving for more. You should really read this one. I promise you won’t regret paying for it!
So yea, this is the continuation of Miss Eve Montelibano’s Megastar. The first part left us hanging, riI'm so excited and I just can't hide it.. LOL
So yea, this is the continuation of Miss Eve Montelibano’s Megastar. The first part left us hanging, right? The second installment will give you the oozing feeling of delight, ovary explosion, and pleasure. I cannot give you any spoilers so you better read it. At first, I thought 10 chapters won’t be that lengthy but upon checking the pages; it was almost as long as the first one so yea, I was pacified. But I want moooooore. This book was full of intimacy, understanding and love. Miss Eve avoided the predictable pitfalls but brought a delectably sexy novella with a smart and funny woman and an oh-so-hot hero.
As I’ve told you guys before the little things that were written earlier, the small, tiniest details that we don’t pay attention to? Well guess what, they were useful. I love the characters especially Cruz. His lines were short but FTW!
“You should do something about your fucking itch, man. Use your fucking black book full of kitties you haven’t scratched for almost a month now.” -Cruz, Stargazer
Ah, miss you, man! You should be in the lime light too!
Over all, Celine and Dare won my heart. Celine was very sophisticated, well-read, stunning, rich, and well-mannered. And Dare, he has big dreams, big house and VERY big bank account. You have no idea what more big stuff he has, I do. LOL He was cocky alright. But if he wishes to open his heart for someone, that someone will stay there for a long long time. Eeek. That’s all for now.

After candidly admitting her virginal state, Jordana Almueda, the world's top supermodel, finds herself in the crosshairs of the tabloid media. Worse, she becomes a challenge for men - receiving a record number of proposals (most of them indecent) since her faux pas. Needing a break, she goes off to Italy to play maid of honor to her best friend. Finally, some downtime at last. Or so she thinks.
Lonzo Vitale's name exudes power. A billionaire by his early thirties, his undeniable good looks and dynamism inspire awe and grabs headlines. The European business sector follows his boardroom moves, usually a step or two behind, while his bedroom conquests provide fodder for gossip pages. He is a man who vows never to settle - a true serial monogamist. When his best friend suddenly decides to tie the knot, Lonzo agrees to be his best man, in hopes of changing the groom's mind about the pitfalls of matrimony.
A STORY MADE IN TABLOID HEAVEN.
On the eve of the wedding, they find themselves entwined on a bed, naked and with no recollection of how they ended there in the first place.
Or that their naked pictures will be selling tabloids weeks later.
O-KAY! I can finish one novel in less than a day, but there was this one point that no matter how good the book is, I was nothing but a book downer. It’s not relatively serious though, I just haven’t had my normal book mojo – but Lonzo fixed all that, with all the anticipation and dirty thoughts.
This book was well-written, pure, un-put-down-able, decadent, perfect mix of all. It was supreme perfection for me! It had me drooling, swooning and panting over Lonzo Vitale. It was the perfect blend of HOTNESS, and seriously grief-stricken hero and heroine. YES. TORMENTED. READ THE WHOLE THING!
What I liked more about this novel was Kat Madrid’s realistic approach with regards to the characters. I mean, who would have written anything about a heroine who put tissues in her armpits? Really? And supermodels do experience stage frights too, they just muster themselves quite well. LOL
Second, it was star-studded, J.LO, Beyonce, Jay-Z, Angie, and Brad. Brand-studded too, Burberry , Marc Jacobs, Lanvin, Roberto Cavalli, Valentino, Dior, Calvin Klein, Estee Lauder, Loius Vuitton Victoria and Michael Kors.
Let me introduce you to Jordana Almueda, a bonafide glamazon, hailed as the queen in modeling world. A very down to earth person, self-sufficient, gorgeous—NO—GLAMOROUS, 5’10 tall with a sexy and curvy bud. And--- a virgin. From a plain life of an orphan girl, Jordana has certainly reached the stars. From being a waitress to a supermodel. DUH? She’s the queen bee of the runway. Half or rather more than the male population wants her in their beds—NAKED. For her, men are a bunch of overgrown kids. Firmly believes that sex should be done after marriage.
Everything about LONZO VITALE screams ALPHA. Hot, cold, warm, Christ, if there are in betweens I swear Lonzo will let you feel ‘em. His eyes were olive green with ridiculously thick lashes, chiseled jaw line, a strong masculine, nose and a sensual mouth that lived to its promise, Physically he was ten. He had the instincts of a Great White shark once he smells blood. He wins a battle even before it began. He was a womanizing bastard, and he doesn’t give a shit for pedigrees. Marriage? BULLCRAP!
IT’S A PERFECT 5. You guys should read this. I love you Lonzo! You are now added to my book boyfriend List! YAY!
My kind of guy!
The second part will be released on the 8th of August 2014. Watch out!
She can't believe Daemon welcomed his race or stood by as his kind threatened to obliterate every last human and hybrid on Earth. But the lines between good and bad have blurred, and love has become an emotion that could destroy her—could destroy them all.
Daemon will do anything to save those he loves, even if it means betrayal.
They must team with an unlikely enemy if there is any chance of surviving the invasion. But when it quickly becomes impossible to tell friend from foe, and the world is crumbling around them, they may lose everything— even what they cherish most—to ensure the survival of their friends…and mankind.
War has come to Earth. And no matter the outcome, the future will never be the same for those left standing.
Katy knows the world changed the night the Luxen came.
I never imagined life will go on after learning that I was going to wait two more months for the release of Opposition after reading the entire series. I thought, I shouldn't have read ‘em since I cannot contain the excitement. Obsidian made me swoon and drool and God-knows-what. The other books in the series--which I am also looking forward to finish again to be able to write a decent, honest review --and I know will be a 5 perfect stars—are PURR-FFECTO!
No words can describe how I feel about these books. My first thought was… “Please let Katy find Daemon in high-speed… Please let him be the same Daemon I fell in love with and not some crazy lunatic guy who agrees to conquer the world and all that crap… Please don’t let anything happen to him, they just got married in Vegas for crying out loud!”
I felt the intense emotion I was eager to finish the book but yea, it took me 4 days to finish it. WHY? I don’t want the book to finish without really understanding the story. This series hit the very core of my entire bookworm heart. The characters even the evil ones will stay in my heart for as long as I live. NO JOKE. Thank God for Jennifer A. and her ingenious mind.
My favorite line.
Heart pounding action packed ending, fast phased, and extreme. I have never loved a heroine as much as I love Katy I mean, she’d been through a lot, lost her dad, met Blake, the supposed step dad was crazy, been toDaedalus, met Nancy, lost her mom. A tragedy after another but remained strong. She's righteous, smart and a bad-ass fighter. That’s what Daemon loved about her, and that’s what I loved about her. No dead black bone in her body. Always, about others, always about Daemon, Daemon’s family and her mom, never about her. Ahhh, girl you are so perfect.
I became a book reviewer because of you Katy. You inspired me to become one. Thank you for that!
Oh she’s a book blogger. LOL
Katy’s Krazy Book Blog
The similarities between Adam and Pepe. Can you tell?
And Daemon. Wow. I never thought you’d actually take a bullet for Katy. I mean, man, that was…I dunno how to express it in words but you touched my heart. I guess that’s what love really is about. No second thoughts. When I started to learn about you guys, just reading the synopsis of Obsidian, you were the main reason why I read it. I thought, “Hey! Another arrogant hero to love.”
And I never regretted it since. I love you for what you are what you have become, I am so proud of you guys. Y’all pulled ‘em off fluidly!
Unconditional love is what Daemon taught me throughout the story, no matter painful it is you have to move on, look forward, looking back is okay because running away from it doesn't do anything good you have to face ‘em no matter what but still you have to move forward. There’s no way but up.
OH I LOVE YOU ALL!
Shall I add more for you to read the entire series! These books are to die for.
PS. Please let the paperbacks hit PH! Pretty please?
Celine is madly in love with Hollywood megastar, the painfully gorgeous Dare Montgomery. She is his self-proclaimed No. 1 fan in the world since grade school. He is her prince charming, knight in shining armor and soul mate rolled into one. In her dreams, at least. Now Dare is not exactly the epitome of chivalry, and definitely not the right role model for young, idealistic women like Celine. He is a jaded-to-the bone product of dog-eat-dog Hollywood, a consummate practitioner of casual sex. He has no use for women who write poems and songs in his honor, especially the ones who are dying to make an honest man out of him. Some tried but failed miserably. He is hard to the core and no woman can change or tame him.
But Celine believes otherwise. She has met Dare once, when she was still a little girl and he was just a teenager and they shared one unforgettable moment together, a moment so special that Celine is absolutely convinced that she and Dare are meant for each other. She is the right woman for him and all those starlets and supermodels are just temporary diversions until her second coming into his life. Proof? He is now thrice married and thrice divorced. Dare is waiting for her. She is his one true destiny.
You think she’s crazy? Think again. Never underestimate the power of naïve delusions. It makes people do the things they don’t normally do. Even the impossible. And in these moments of impossibility, magic happens.
Okay so this is my first Eve Montelibano review and I don’t wanna screw this up. I am such a BIG fan. I totally own every book she wrote like really!
Who wouldn't love her? The Uuuhhs, the aahhs, and the oohhhs.
She introduced my innocent mind to smuts,
I embraced her way of writing…
Constantly wetting my pants… Kidding!
So Megastar is basically Dare to Love also written by Miss Eve but the enhanced edition.
IT IS WRITTEN IN FULL ENGLISH—BY A FILIPINA.
Makes me wanna sing the Philippine National anthem over and over again! I am so looking forward for Drew’s story though but hey, DARE is my BOYFRIEND TOO! So lemme start my PLEASE-LET-ME-NOT-WRITE-A-SPOILER review.
Megastar did it to me again. I was emotionally invested in the characters and as the story progress my heart recalls the reasons why I really fell in love with Dare. The first few pages will introduce you to the characters and their natures. Their past lives, what they've become, what they plan to do. It was all laid on the table.
She fancied Dare from the first and last moment she met him. She made him her motivation to become a successful, well-educated person. Far from the Celine that Dare once taught how to fly. Far from the scared little girl that Dare met in Coney Island. She’s not scared anymore and she’s going to get what she thought she deserve, what she aimed for…
The All-American look, the I-CAN-FUCK-THE-SHIT-OUT-OF-YOU arrive and the NO-I’M-NOT-CHRISTIAN—FUCKING-GREY-BUT-I-CAN-PUT-YOUR-BED-IN-FIRE personality. YES. That’s –eherm- my Dare. He does not believe in love ever after. He was twice divorced and third in the works. His aphorism when it comes to women is: “I’m all open all season but closed on special occasions.” No anniversaries and that entire Hallmark crap.
What I loved most about the characters was not only their individual characteristics but the moments and the relationship they form between each other, connections that relates each character. What can I say? Miss Eve’s works talks the talk and walks the walk.
There wasn't a bunch of profound tragedy that would make you sob in anguish. I thought the plot was great, the phasing of the book was well-done, the little moments that these characters have, this book was full of ‘em and I appreciated all the understated, subtle moment we may take advantage of. There were obsession, hope, guilt, love, and witty funny lines. Romantic comedy junkies will enjoy this book overall.
Yeah, I looked like this.
At the beginning of every chapter you will find one of the letters Celine sent to Dare. You should take notes of those for the realization part. I was a taken off guard about the end (of the first book of the trilogy) because I thought I had more 10 or 5 more pages to go but it kinda ended abruptly for me. You know what they say when you read a good book; it makes you wanna wish it wouldn't end.
I DARE to fall in love again with the story and the characters.
And I can’t wait for the two thirds of the story to come out. One thing I’m sure of…
I WILL BE WAITING.
AND I AM SO READING DARE TO LOVE AGAIN! RIGHT.NOW!

I was never supposed to be a rock star. I had my life all planned out for me. Play football in college. Go to the NFL. Marry my high school sweetheart and live happily ever after.
I broke both our hearts that day when I told her I was leaving. I was young. I made the right decision for me, but the wrong decision for us. I've poured my soul into my music, but I've never forgotten her. Her smell, her smile.
And now I’m going back.
After ten years.
I hope I can explain that after all this time.
I still want her to be my forever girl.
“Hey, Jojo?” he yells.
"Yeah.” I yell back.
“I’m going to marry you someday.”
OMG! How can I.. I can’t even..You know the..I mean.. UH! Totally speechless. At last, a first love reunited. I mean, how many guys do you know really that calls his EX or even his girlfriend or wife “my girl”? I mean seriously? That’s the sweetest! And he was so sure that she will be his last. I liked how Heidi wrote about friendship. I felt what the characters felt. I've been clueless, hurt, confused, and felt being loved.
“I love you, Jojo. You’re forever my girl.”
For a decade, Liam left everything behind. I still don’t see the clear thought about him leaving without telling Josie the real deal and the fact that he wasn't taking Josie’s phone calls kinda pissed me off-- a lot. But overall, the characters are well connected. Not a single character did I find. This is everything I hoped for and more.
Moreover, I’m glad Nick didn't end up with Josie. No woman deserves to be called a bitch, or asked if she slept with her ex. That's the lowest blow Nick ever said to the “girl” he said he “loved”. And Sam, don’t wear a bra anymore if it's barely-there.
Finally, I’d like to note the moral lesson. Listen to your partner’s dreams and not babble about yours every time. It can totally ruin your happily ever after.
Liam didn't make it to my Book Boyfriends List but I love him just the same. I just didn't appreciate him leaving without looking back. But I love you Liam you know that!
“Josie Preston I have loved you since I was sixteen. I know I've screwed up a whole lot, but I promise to make it up to you every day. Would you do me the immense honor of wearing my ring, taking my name and becoming not only my partner in life, but most importantly, wife?”
For almost two years now, Kiera's boyfriend, Denny, has been everything she's ever wanted: loving, tender and endlessly devoted to her. When they head off to a new city to start their lives together, Denny at his dream job and Kiera at a top-notch university, everything seems perfect. Then an unforeseen obligation forces the happy couple apart.
Feeling lonely, confused, and in need of comfort, Kiera turns to an unexpected source—a local rock star named Kellan Kyle. At first, he's purely a friend that she can lean on, but as her loneliness grows, so does their relationship. And then one night everything changes...and none of them will ever be the same.
First, I want to say I how unbelievably this book deserve its title. YES. It was
. I don’t hate the author and second I only write honest reviews so, bear with my whining.
I hate Kiera.
I have never hated a book character more than I hate her. I have nothing against love triangles since it give kicks to the story. But I don’t like the idea of the men being best friends. I mean, what was that? What were you trying to imply? What’s with the “I have the most perfect boyfriend, but I fell in love with his best friend and oh he f*cked me not once but twice and I liked it.”? Why do Kiera always blush? I blushed, I blushed here, I blushed there, and I blushed fucking everywhere. –Errr—Did I tell you that I’m blushing right now? OH! For the love of spaghetti! Shut the hell up!
Nearly getting my keyboard all wrecked!
Why did it take me 2 and half days to read it? It’s horribly wrong but all that was written was about Kiera’s double timing schemes. YES. I read it. Not because I liked the cheating part but because I wanna know why Kellan was included in the best boyfriend list. And YES, I knew why.
I love you Kellan. I was touched how you honestly loved Kiera.
What I loved about Kellan is that he was decided to leave Kiera and Denny for them to be happy. He doesn’t want to cheat on his bestfriend it was all Kiera’s idea. I promise! He asked Kiera to choose. Kiera said he loved him and the next time she chose Denny. See how her whoremones works? It’s completely disgusting. My heart felt heavier and heavier as the story steps forward. I felt the pain Kiera entrenched to Kellan’s heart. It was very horrible.
I was really mad when Kiera pretended to not know what really was going on with Kellan, whenever Denny kissed her, touched her, or whatever. I was glad when Kellan tried to hurt her in “Manwhore” chapt. She deserved it!
I loved Denny. My heart broke when he got to know the real deal between Kiera and Kellan. Oh my poor poor Aussie Hottie. Why did you have to make him look like an idiot? When all he did was dream big for himself and Kiera. All for their freaking future. How did you think hugging, kissing, and stroking wouldn't lead to sex? Why did you force me to be in that bitch’s mind? I mean come the hell on! Why did you write a completely selfish bitch of a heroine? Why didn’t you kill Kiera in the end?
WHY?! YOU MAKE ME SO MAAAAAAD!
I tried to understand Kiera. FOR REAL. But I really don’t get why she had to be in a relationship with Denny and fuck her roommate, Kellan. I think what I got from this story was its message.
CHEATING IS GOOD. – NOT.
Cheating with your bestfriend’s partner is okay. – HELL NO!
NO, NO, ABSOLUTELY NOT!
But because of how Kellan expressed his feelings and how goodhearted he and Denny were, 3 coffee cups. I might read Effortless because of you Kellan, but I cannot promise when for I really hated every inch of Kiera. FOR REAL!
Denny & Kellan,
Because of you two, I
demand my money and my precious time back. You guys deserved it.
One-night stands are supposed to be with someone convenient, or wickedly persuasive, or regrettable. They aren’t supposed to be with someone like him.
But after a crazy Vegas weekend celebrating her college graduation—and terrified of the future path she knows is a cop-out—Mia Holland makes the wildest decision of her life: follow Ansel Guillaume—her sweet, filthy fling—to France for the summer and just…play.
When feelings begin to develop behind the provocative roles they take on, and their temporary masquerade adventures begin to feel real, Mia will have to decide if she belongs in the life she left because it was all wrong, or in the strange new one that seems worlds away.
Wait I have to remain calm.
I FREAKING KNOW! This is one of Christina Lauren’s sizzling hot novels. I am really a self-confessed new adult lover. I have read a few but Sweet Filthy Boy is awesome. It was never boring and I loved it right from the first page up to the last. Like for real!
So, Mia and her friends graduated and went off to Vegas to celebrate. They partied like three days in a really amazing hotel suite. I think Mia was the most reserved among the three, but hey everybody needs to relax and have a break with shits life has to offer. Mia got an accident before, as I remember she got hit by a truck or a car and broke her leg. She liked dancing so much but when the accident occurred she was not the same anymore. Due to the accident, she slipped back in to a quiet girl. But everything changed when she and her friends went to Vegas. She decided to have fun and be the girl she was before. (Well, like before being quiet. LOL contradictory much?)
Talk about waking up married-- in Vegas. Mia freaked out of course. And then, this was the part that I feel like its a "Hangover" rip off. But made it a little sexier and steamier.
This is where they were talking. Like I can remember everything clearly now.
“Which was your favorite? Living room, or bed, or floor, or bed, or wall, or mirror, or bar, of floor?”
“Shhh,” I whisper. “You're weird.”
“I think I need a cast for my penis.”
The funny part was, Mia wrote a letter to herself about that night. She made Ansel promise not to annul their marriage before Mia starts her studies again.
Ansel asked Mia to come with him in France, Mia declined at first but eventually went with him. Mia had an unexpected monthly visitor during the trip and got sick for three day. Ansel, on the other hand, was a really busy man so he went to work early and went home late every freaking day. Mia somehow managed to roam around Paris and found a little shop wherein she found some costumes that she used for role-playing to excite and burn Ansel's desire for her. It worked actually.
“I like any kind of sex with you, but I prefer being on top of you... You make missionary feel dirty the way you grab and move under me.”
I need some water. It's really getting hotter and hotter.
Please tell me I'm not crazy about crushing on Ansel after reading this:
"Toutes les choses que j'ai envie de te faire..."
I swallow back a moan, whispering, "What did you just say?"
"Just thinking of all the things I want to do to you." He kisses my jaw. "Do you want me to stop?"
"No," I say, and then panic chokes me. "Yes." He freezes and I immediately miss the rhythm of his broad fingertips. "No. Don't stop."
With a raspy laugh, he bends to kiss my neck, and my eyes roll closed as he starts to move again.
I dunno which part was this but someone called and Ansel took it then he went out for a bit and went back in. That was his ex-girlfriend, Perry, and it was later when Mia learnt about it. She thought Perry was a guy and Ansel didn't try to correct her. Everything ran smoothly between Ansel and Mia until they went to a party. The girl whom Ansel fondly called Minuit (Perry) ,translated as midnight, was there. Minuit confronted Mia, told her about the broken engagement between her and Ansel, some facts about her that Minuit claimed that Ansel told her, and some bullcraps. Mia ran away from Ansel but Ansel found her though. Ansel tried to explain everything to Mia. But they, again, made love. Mia went back to San Diego and rented an apartment, went back to her old dancing school and got a job. One day, Ansel showed up and yeah, uhm..they did that again. Ansel decided that after the case he was working on, he will be moving to San Diego.
OFFICIALLY, Ansel Guillaume is now one of my book boyfriends.
If he's real, I can die.
This is such a recommended book. I will definitely wait for Lauren's Wild Season 2.
