Red Moon
it was ok
Skip it. It starts out good and has some excellent themes but completely falls apart by Part 3. Off the rails, parody level nonsense.

Parasite (Parasitology, #1)
it was ok
I didn't like the main character. She fell flat, the ending was obvious, characters were dumb simply to forward the plot. Meh.

Island of the Sequined Love Nun
it was ok
Not being funny is the kiss of death for a humor fiction novel. I just didn't find anything even whimsical, just bland.

American Vampire, Vol. 2
liked it
With the large jump in time, it needed a summary of what happened in Volume One. Other than that it was pretty good.

The Serpent of Venice (The Fool, #2)
