I am going to be honest and admit I am late for posting this adult coloring book. I apologize for the late posting to BFB and my readers, because this adult coloring book is an amazing one that is Alice In Wonderland. I do have about three or four of them now. But of course Alice In Wonderland is my favorite, of course. This adult coloring book also has the story written in it. It seems like a shorter version, because it would be so much thicker if it was the full book. I do recommend if you are going to get an adult coloring book that is Alice In Wonderland themed, this is a very good one to choose! I can't wait to focus on my coloring in more to try and distract from my depression and anxiety. I need to get on the ball and try and focus more this new year. I am definitely going to be putting more of my time in this coloring book. . Have a Blessed Day!...more

I always enjoy getting to read new books or Bible studies from She Reads Truth. I am also excited to see whatever new happens with this ministry. This book basically is Meyers and Williams telling about some of the rough times of their lives growing up and what they still go through now. Even though they share these parts of their lives with us, they also point out how through it all God is always the same. Even though we have the ups and the downs, we have our Bible and Prayer to show us that God is Truth. He is always there with/for us, and he will always be. One thing I like is that they share scripture they have read over and over to help them get through these struggles. Scripture that proves he is Truth. I do recommend this book if you are all about the Bible and the Truth of God. Also if you have/had struggles in your life, it is always interesting to read about other's stories and how they got through it. It shows no one is perfect and we all have downfalls etc. But the one thing that will help us get through it is our faith in God....more

When I first started reading The Telling it was a little bit slow in the beginning. I say that because I feel the author does include a lot of details in the story so you understand what the main character is going through. I don't find it annoying that she wrote a lot of details, I love details plus it does help explain a lot of things. A lot of times I find you need those details. I found this to be a great suspenseful murder mystery book. Sirowy will have you guessing and guessing, thinking its this person or no it has to be this person. It is a book that will be hard to put down, because you just have to keep reading to know how it ends! If you are into the books have immense mystery and suspense I feel this book will be perfect for you. I do need to share that there are some cuss words in this book and some talk that suggest about sex. Luckily it wasn't too much about it, because I myself am not into the cuss words in books. A lot of times you just cannot get away from it though, that is how some of the children talk nowadays and a lot of adults. Anyways, enough of that talk, other than that again I say this was an intriguing book. I am going to have to grab the other book of the authors and read it....more

While reading this book I found it awesome to finally read a book from an author who understands what depression and anxiety is about. I hate that she has gone through it, or that anyone has gone through it. It is best to have books on these subjects from folks who have gone through the same things. Because you know they know how to relate more to you.
I did find she was repetitive in a few chapters, to where I felt I thought I was rereading a chapter. Other than that I do love that she incorporates scriptures and talking about how God has helped her through her depression. This book would be great to do a weekly bible study with others, because at the end there are questions in the way you can discuss with your bible study group about what your answers were to the questions. Also my favorite thing at the end of each chapter she posts christian songs that have helped her throughout her depression and writing this book. Which I am going to of course go on Spotify and add all of these songs and make a happy playlist to see if it helps me out. I also love learning of new music and new christian music especially. They are always great to listen play to try and get your depressed self back up to cheery. I think this would be a great book to try if you go through any anxiety or depression, because it doesn't hurt to read a book and see if the author says something that just might click for you. ...more

I felt like I understood a lot of the insecurities and situations that this author has gone through. She shares experiences of her life where there were ups and downs and basically points out where she found her lovely. She describes where and how to look for those lovely areas and times in your life. Even in the worst experiences you have had in your life.
I found it interesting how she could do this, but I know it's still really hard for me to find the lovely in my darkest moments. Sometimes I can't understand why God has allowed certain things I have went through to happen. I may never figure it out until I get to heaven. But we just have to try to stick with God and learn to trust and have faith in him. I am sure there is always a reason why someone has gone through this event or that event. Be it for them to grow from or to share with others so they are not alone. But yes there are a lot of areas that are difficult to understand.
I found reading this book, okay. It was interesting learning about situations of life Downs experienced. I am sure this book has spoken to other people whom have read it, but it just didn't really speak to me. I didn't get that "aha" moment that I expected I was going to get. Other than that it is a very pretty cover and I do believe that there is a study guide you can buy to go along with it. Maybe I will do that later on and reread it with the study guide....more

I found this book interesting when the author is talking about how she started on her journey of learning not to quit. I have issues with quiting at times and procrastinating. She explains how her husband pointed out to her how she quits with nearly everything. She also starts asking herself is she quitting with God and every part of her life? She writes out 5 habits of how not to quit. The 5 habits are: 1. She accepts the assignment of refinement 2. She follows through with her commitments despite how she feels 3. She stays open to the movement of God 4. She gives others what she needs 5. She moves forward in faith. With each of these habits she explains about her life and how she used started to use these habits. I also enjoy how she puts in scripture here in there about the faith of Ruth, because Ruth is such a great role model for us to be like. I will say this book was a tad on the slow side for me to read and I must reread it myself. I may get more out of it the second time I read it. But for now I will give this book an okay rating. But you never know it may help you if you deal with issues of quitting....more

Stevens has done it again! She has written yet another great story, called The Lies About Truth. It is yet another story about real life struggles. The main character Sadie has to deal with her physical scars that came about from a car accident. She also has to deal with a friend she lost, and friends she was slowly pushing away. Slowly letting them slip away. I do enjoy reading a story like this because it shows me how people can be strong and actually get through those struggles. I enjoyed reading about her having a new relationship blossom because of the accident. Especially reading about how she got through her list of what she wanted to conquer to get back to herself. So she wouldn't be hiding and secluding herself anymore. There are a lot of folks who go through plenty of different terrible things. This is a good story that shows everyone we can be strong and conquer what we need to, to get back to where we want to be.
I understand in my own way with my mental issues. I try to make my own lists also that I am working on. Some are attempting to drive again, attempting to fight the anxiety/depression I deal with. I want to make it to where I can work again. Just this morning I was feeling down and like I was getting nowhere. I believe finally reading the rest of this book this morning reminded me I need to keep trying. I pray With God's help I will eventually get there. I enjoy reading anything Stevens writes about, even if it has sad and struggling in the story. She reminds me with her stories that I or anyone can get through these storms and overcome them. I seriously cannot wait to see what else she comes out with. I wish there was a new book already coming out right now so I could read it. Her writing is very easy at catching and keeping your attention. You always want to see how things end up. So make sure to grab this book and give it a read. First thing I will tell y'all is the cover of this book is very inviting. The Cover and the title catches the eye very easily. Reason I had to try and sign up for this Blog Tour from The Fantastic Flying Book Club. I believe this is the first time I am doing a Blog Tour for them. I was so excited to be accepted into giving this book a read.
In the beginning of this book it is talking about Olivia running from her kidnapper. Therefore, of course it already had me hooked to trying to figure out what was going on. In the next chapter it moves on to about maybe a few months before this scene. It explains this young woman's situation and will keep you hanging on your seat wanting to learn more. It sure did keep me guessing who the person was chasing her in the beginning.
During the whole story she is trying to figure out who killed her parents when she was just three years old. But when she moves back into the house that was owned by her grandmother, she decides to ask the folks in town about these murders. So of course when you are new and keep asking about details about a past murder, sooner or later the killer will find out and feel the need to get rid of the new girl who is curious in town. I will admit when the killer explains how her parents died, I was not expecting what he told her. I was still going by the guesses the townsfolk were guessing. I love this about any book or movie. The not being able to tell who the killer is and how it happened. It gets boring when you figure out the result easy and fast. Always give me something that keeps me guessing and makes me use my brain muscles. If you enjoy suspenseful type of books, this is one definitely to read. I also enjoyed how the author writes, because she knows how to keep you engulfed in the book. I know I will keep my eye out for Henry's other books to read. ...more

I wish I had enough money just to spend on one of her products. I believe I would buy one of the animal prints, because they are kind of kawaii looking to me and of course they are adorably cute! I was so excited to receive this book to review. One reason I needed/wanted her book is she gives you tips and shows steps on how she draws and paints the certain images she chose for this book. The second reason is so I can stare at her artwork in my own hands. If you are into learning this style of drawing and painting, it is one of the best books to grab. I love the colors she uses in her paintings also. I believe most of them are watercolor, and I just enjoy watercolor. Steadfast Love was hard for me to finish. I believe it was hard for me to keep reading because the introduction made me think the book would be about how the author got through life's struggles with God's steadfast love. Most of the chapters were talking about different people in the Bible and certain struggles they went through. I felt it could have been written better to show the theme of the title of the book. Maybe I am missing something and just need to reread it. It could easily be one of those books where I just need to reread to focus better on it. When I finally started seeing the author talking about her struggles, and how she prevailed through them in the last few chapters. I found that the most interesting part of the book. I sadly just wish it was that way through the whole book for me. I believe this will be a book I will give to a friend who will enjoy it better than me, Because everyone has their own views of different books. If it can help that friend when I couldn't get it, I feel than it is better in other hands. I do enjoy the cover of the book, I believe it is nicely created. I believe it challenges them to get into more books that are longer. I found this to be a great fantasy book! There is a lot of action to keep anyone entertained.
I find it interesting when reading about these two teenagers trying to get Prue's brother back. What happened at the beginning of the book is Prue's baby brother gets carried off into the Impassable Woods. That is what her parents call it. So of course Prue is going to go after her brother and her friend Curtis just decides to follow her in there. There are a lot of complications and situations they seem to stumble into. Something else I found interesting is the illustrations they show throughout the book. I just seem to like this type of art. one more thing I must not forget is I love how in the woods you can speak to animals. If I had one superpower, I would speak with and understand animals. Silly I know, but there are so many times I need to know what my cat's are saying to me! This story also is told in two point of views, But they little brackets so you can tell where a new part will start. Very sad, but great plot on it. I did find out during each spot they have a page with stars in between, well that starts another person's point of view. It starts their story during the alien invasion. It can easily get confused who is speaking, but as soon as you read a paragraph of it you will understand who is talking. There is some making out in this book and a part where shrapnel is being taking out of a butt. Other than that there really isn't any smut in this book. I can't say anything yet about the next two books. There is violence in this book, but I think it's the same amount as you would see in the Divergent series. This book had me on edge the whole time. I think it is a great read if you are into these Dystopian style of books. I am very curious how the next book will be like. Go ahead and grab this book. Give it a read and let me know what y'all think. :)
Spoilers: I did find the part where Cassie met Evan to be long, but maybe this book needed it to be long. It was a sweet romance between them, who would have thought that the alien would have fallen in love with her? I kind of like that plot. But for the longest I still thought we couldn't trust his character. I am very sad about the end of it, I sure do hope that he survived. I do wish it ended a little different. But of course they have to end it by leaving you hanging. I am not for sure about the kiss ben gave her at the end either. I thought he had a thing for Ringer and it makes me a little sad because They had two perfect couples. But Evan had to go and save the day. I guess I shall see if he is still alive in the next book....more

I just knew this girl Essie who lived on thanda, would always fight to win money. With that money she would repair her drones that she sent to help the men in the mine. There was something in the mine that would leave some type of dangerous sludge that you could come across if you were not careful. The drones had a detecting system to tell where the men to stay away from. Essie enjoys stitching/coding these drones. I actually fell in love with the drones, because I just thought they were adorable! It was interesting how they each had their own personality and you could tell they even had feelings. At least that is what I caught from them. There is a lot more I can tell y'all but I don't want to give away the whole story.
I found this book, actually quite easy to get into reading. I enjoyed how the main character was smart, strong, and always tinkered with her drones. I believe Lewis did a wonderful job and her book is well written. It had me quite on the edge of my seat at times, because there is a lot of fighting and action. The last part of the book was harder to read, because of me being an anxious person. It was where most of the story got to an emotional part for me. I would say this book is a buyer. She basically writes about what she is going through, so we can see it in her perspective. Also explaining what you should and shouldn't do for that person that is hurting, or even say. She ends her chapters with different questions to get you thinking. Am I doing what God want's me to while helping this friend/loved one hurting.
What I found was beautiful about Kara is how she brought a whole community together, and made them all friends. What love and strength it is to be able to do that. Here i'm struggling to even find friends myself. I feel I would be blessed if I was able to have this gift kara had, and bring a whole community together. Shirer explains there are 10 different prayer strategies, and then goes into explaining deeper about each strategy in each chapter. Which I think is great if you are wanting to delve deeper into praying. (This book goes along great with the movie I am told.) I will agree she does write these strategies of prayer like we are in war. In which, we are in war with the enemy of God. I need to get my praying combat boots on and pray better, longer, and harder. She sure hit me in some hard spots of prayer I need to deal with.
Here are the Prayer Strategies the author talks about:

First thing I have to mention about this book is, how BEAUTIFUL the photography is. I could just stare at each of the pictures every day. Also it would be great to set out as decor every Christmas season. You never know, you may have that one friend visiting that sees it and thinks to themselves, "I just might read this." It might be something they were needing to read all along.
Stanley talks about how his Christmases were when he was growing up. It made me remember mine. I do believe some of my favorite parts of Christmas were the wrapping paper, decorations, the family get together's, and of course the toys. My one favorite thing to do was to play in the Christmas tree with my dolls and certain Christmas ornaments. The tree is one of my favorite decorations around the Christmas season. I just love the beautiful twinkling lights.
The author also gets into how this season can be so hectic, and with all the worry about what to get your parents or what to get your siblings. It can be a stressful time of year. But sadly we are missing the true reason for the celebration of Christmas, which is Christ himself. He talks about Mary's birth to Jesus and he reminds us of the main gift we should celebrate. Jesus and his sacrifice to save us. I enjoyed reading this book and i'm going to find a place to set it out from now on for Christmas's to come. Also to remind myself to read it every Christmas, so that I do not get so tied up into the stresses of the presents and gifts. What I found as an extra bonus in this book is, at the end of every chapter he has a few scriptures and even a Christmas song that you can read. (or sing in your head like I did, because it is hard to read a song without singing it) This book is very easy to read and would also be a great Christmas gift to give this year....more

I am yet again choosing another emotional book to read. I will admit that I have no regrets from choosing this book. You may have to grab tissues before you start reading this book, because there were quite a few spots where I was tearing up. Sheinmel knows how to tug at your heart strings. I love reading these types of stories, because like I have said before, they give you some knowledge of how you should act if put in these situations. How the person with the illness/injury reacts and how others react around them. I hated how after she had her transplant and went back to school, all the students were very rude. It seemed they were constantly staring and laughing at her, everywhere she went. The sad thing is, that is how a lot of folks are with anything, they are rude. Luckily she had her best friend Serena. Out of everyone, even her boyfriend, it seemed Serena was there through everything. She never turned her back on her, ever.
At one of the High school Halloween parties, I was so sad. She followed one of her used to be friends into a room the seniors would sneak off to during the party. She over heard them talking to her boyfriend and asking him why he was still with her. He states he will break up with her when she is better. This made me so mad because it just seemed heartless. Near the end I read about how she comes to terms with it. She states how it isn't fair to either of them really, and it made me realize, oh yeah, it really isn't fair. It slowly made me understand all points of view. Sheinmel is an awesome writer. She knows how to grab your attention and suck you into her book. Her writing style made it easy for me to feel what the main character was going through. If you think this is a type of book you can get into, read it! I really would love to see this become a movie, because of what it's about....more

The author does touch on a lot about how many people believe that God loves them and can tell others that he loves them. The issue is deep down, they still have a doubt, because it is hard for them to fully believe anyone, even God can love them. She explains how we need to get those doubts out of our head. Weaver also explains some ways folks use to get through those doubts. I hate to admit it, but I am one of those folks. It is hard for me to believe that anyone can love me. I just have to keep telling myself that I can be loved. God loves me and he loves everyone.
In each chapter Weaver slowly goes through a few verses at a time, incorporating her life experiences and excerpts from other books. The author also included a 10 week companion bible study in the back of the book, along with a bonus chapter and tools and resources. I will admit she did share some points I need to work on, and next time I will use the study guide in the back when I reread it. I didn't want to use it the first time I read it, because I just wanted to focus on reading the book first. I cannot wait to go back and reread the book with the bible study. Polarity In Motion is about a fifteen year old girl named Polarity, who deals with having to move to different towns/schools constantly. The reason they have to move around a lot is because of her mother's mental condition. Her mother has borderline Personality Disorder, so she is constantly trying to find some doctor or some form of remedy. They end up moving to Garcia when Polarity is in ninth grade, because of some new type of therapy for her mother. One day during sixth period of school, a naked picture of Polarity pops up on Danny's (One of the popular jocks) computer screen. This ended up getting her sent to the principal's office and the cops being called. Poor Polarity had no idea how the picture of her naked body got posted at all, especially since it looked like she was posing for it. This made it hard for anyone to believe she would not pose for such a picture. The Police suspected her parents, which led to an investigation and child services being called. Polarity has to figure out how to clear her and her parent's name.
I found this book touched on a lot of sensitive subjects, such as bullying and Racial/mental issues. It isn't like any of the other young adult books I have read that deal with suspense/drama. I found Vicars to give more detail about certain things. Which I can see where some readers may not like this, because it can make a book drag sometimes. I actually enjoy all the details the author gives. It also left me hanging on my seat a lot of times, because I was ready to know who made the picture! She kept me guessing who the culprit was, which is also a plus. I will agree I got emotional at certain areas of this book, But that means it's a good book, right? I really enjoyed how the author talked about Borderline Personality Disorder, as you do not hear much about this mental disorder. I think it is one of the difficult disorders to understand and diagnose, and it is always great to get more information out about certain health or mental issues. Paper Towns is about a girl named Margo Roth Spiegelman and a boy named Quinton Jacobsen. It starts off talking about what happens to them when they are young, and then it goes into when they are at high school. Of course, like many friendships they’ve grown apart over the years and started hanging out with different friends. One night Margo decides to go to Quinton’s house and enlist him in her plan for vengeance. Vengeance against old friends whom have lost her trust in various ways. Her parent’s inform us that she has gone missing and that this isn’t the first time. She left town because of her estranged relationship with her parents. But this time she decided to leave clues for Quinton to follow.
I lost interest in the plot of this book because the search for Margo becomes repetitive after a while. The consequence of this leaves me feeling that Margo comes off as a very shallow and selfish character. It made it hard to like her character. When Quentin Finds Margo she elaborates on all the reasons why she left. I feel like the book needed a stronger narrative in the middle instead of the repetitious searching. Also the body of the book wasn’t proportionate to my liking. Even though, the end was definitely stronger then the rest of the book, It read as if there was rambling nonsense to it. I don’t believe that I will read it again.
Even though I was disappointed in this book, I will read other books by John Green in the future. ...more

The cover is of a blue streaked headed girl, with the wind blowing her hair. It is very eye catching. Guess what?! I actually read the back of the book to see what it was about before I purchased it. I have noticed compared to her other books I have read, it is also an emotional book. The Impossible Knife of Memory is about a girl named Hayley and how she deals with the struggles of her fathers PTSD from being a war vet. I found the characters very interesting to read and learn about, and I was especially curious how her relationship with her dad would play out. Also was interesting learning about her friends struggles and what would happen with them.
In the back of the book it explains why Anderson wrote about this story. It is a story that is easy for her to connect with because her dad was a WWII veteran with PTSD. I really enjoy when authors write about these subjects. It helps those of use who have not been through it, understand what it's like to be in these situations. That way we can possibly try and help a little better, then if we didn't understand what they are going through. This book is a great book to own and go back and reread. It is very easy to connect to the characters and stay glued into reading it....more
I found reading God Breathed to be quite interesting. The author first explains how he didn't believe the Bible was historically reliable, and states I found reading God Breathed to be quite interesting. The author first explains how he didn't believe the Bible was historically reliable, and states how he was on a journey to find proof it wasn't. But during his research he came to know and believe in God. I think that is amazing how God can work in our lives like that. This research McDowell started made him want to find more of the actual documents of the Bible. He wanted to share with the world what he discovered.
God Breathed is great for those of you who enjoy reading about the history of the Bible. McDowell has a lot of facts about the different languages it was written in and also why God used so many different authors for the Bible. The cover of this book is simple but pretty. It is one of the reasons I wanted to read it. I do believe I would have enjoyed it more, if I knew it had a study guide to go along with it. Whenever I decide to read it again, I will have to purchase the study guide to read with it. Sometimes it helps me learn better and stay more focused....more

Has anyone ever had a mentor growing up, or even a mentor now? I have never fully felt I have ever had a mentor. You know, woman (or man if you are male) that is older than you, whom you feel you can call anytime for anything? Someone who has been through life struggles that are similar or the same of what you are going through at the moment. I have always truly wanted that christian woman in my life as a friend/mentor. There are a lot of things I have questions about with life/bible/etc, and it would be nice to talk with someone who has experience.
What I am explaining is the subject of the recent book I have read called A Friend In Me by Pamela Havey Lau. It is a great book for anyone to read. She talks about how we should all have an older friend who can be our mentor to helps us through certain struggles in life. Yes, we have God who helps us, but he also want's us to come together and help each other. Life can be extremely hard without friends. Lau wonderfully explains in her book about how we should also be friends/mentors for people younger then our own age. She describes how we should go about talking and listening to them in those certain areas they are have issues with. Which is great to learn about! I hope to be able to have that christian mentor I can talk to about anything soon. Because I would love to learn from them, so I can soon help someone who is younger then me with whatever they are dealing with. A lot of times we all go through similar issues, so why not help each other out? I believe that this is a start at making the world better. Giving people encouragement, wisdom, and prayers, will help us all. If this sounds like something y'all are interested in reading, then hurry up and purchase it! There is wonderful information in it....more

The author talks about the different sections in her life where she was tangled up. She then goes on explaining how she allowed God to help her slowly untangle those knots.
I have to admit that I didn't love this book, I only liked it. It does have some great information on how she overcomes the certain tangles of her life. Maybe I wasn't as in love with it because she talks about her insecurities with raising her children. I do not have children, so it makes it hard to relate with her. I think if I wait a few years and reread it when I have children, then it will be more helpful. The author not only discusses insecurities with raising children, but also insecurities with her busy work life. Again this makes it hard to relate, for I am not able to work because of my anxiety. although it was harder for me to feel as if this book reached out to me, she does share some good insight in this book. If you feel this is what you are needing then give it a try. I know I will give it a second chance....more

She is a Harvard professor in pyschology and linguistics. She also travels and does research with her husband, whom is also a professor. She is a smart woman with three children and a career she enjoys immensely. Right before her 50th birthday she starts having memory issues where she forgets certain words. She even gets lost when she goes for a run and cannot remember how to get back to her house. Alice finally goes to see a neurologist and finds out she has early on set alzheimers. This story is about how she deals with, and what she goes through with this illness. It also shows a glimpse of how her husband and children react to it.
It is a sad story, of course, but I found it well written. It is also very informative if you have never experienced or had a family member go through it. It is a must read for anyone. I love how Genova wrote this story and how she wrote about a difficult illness. I believe these type of stories are good for anyone. Good in a way that it will help us understand a little bit more how an illness is. I really do hope one day there will be a cure or something so close to it. This is one thing that does scare me, because I have no idea how I would deal with this illness. This book is very easy to read and stay glued to. The only thing that bothered me was the Alice in the book had different looks then the actress who played her in the movie. I have issues picturing my characters sometimes, and that didn't help me....more
Life is _____.: God's Illogical Love Will Change Your Existence written by Judah Smith I believe is a great book! He has a way of keeping you interestLife is _____.: God's Illogical Love Will Change Your Existence written by Judah Smith I believe is a great book! He has a way of keeping you interested, and he has even put some fun quotes. One of my favorites is the Mawage quote from The Princess Bride. He talks about Lazarus, Mary, Hosea and Gomer, the Disciples, and most of all Jesus. He also incorporates some of his life stories and does a great job at the points he is trying to make with telling them. The point is Life is Jesus, Life is God. We should fill our whole life with Jesus' teachings, and Surround our thoughts and lives with God. One thing We should attempt is to strive our best to do as Jesus did here on earth. No one is perfect and it is hard for us not to sin, because we are human. But I think as long as we are trying our hardest to do this, it will please God. We should not discriminate someone because of their choices, and ways they live. God doesn't because he loves us. My thoughts are if you push people away because they do not act or believe as you do, how else are you going to be able to witness to them? Just being there for them and being a great friend to them, that is also witnessing to people. They will see you have something different in you, and how that difference is God. This is what I got from this book, and it is an amazing reminder of how we should be. I really enjoyed this book and see myself rereading it a lot in the future. I think it would be well worth a purchase!

Hello Loverlies! Just Add Watercolor by Helen Birch is an awesome little book. When I say little I mean how small the size is, and not that there isn't enough pages to read/look through. This book fits great on any end table/bedside table/coffee table, so that you can just grab it and look at the pictures any chance you get. There are plenty of paintings in this book to help give you inspiration and show you different ways of painting. The types of paintings that are shown in this book are Traditional Watercolor, Gouache, Digital, Mixed Media, Other-Water Based Media, and Non Paper Media. On each page there is information and tips about the painting that is on that page. I love how they have tips in this book, it will help me know more of what I can do whilst painting. It is a great book to own if you are a painter or even if you like learning about it....more

The editor/photographer for this b I received a book from Revell called The Beauty Of Grace: Stories of God's Love from Today's Most Popular Writers. The editor/photographer for this book is Dawn Camp, and the foreword was written by Holley Gerth. This book has short stories by many authors about how they find God in their daily struggles. I enjoyed reading each story because it shows just how human we are, and how we all struggle with similar issues. No one is perfect and we are all going to go through rough times in our lives. The best thing to do is to find God in those struggles. Yes, I know, it is easier said then done a lot of the times. You know why? Because we let ourselves get in the way of finding him. I think this book is a great way of reassuring myself that there is hope, these authors have found that hope in their struggles. Why can't I? Also God forgives me if I mess up and he has never given up hope on me. He just sits there patiently waiting for me to get up, brush myself off, and try again. I believe this book is great if you are looking for some inspirational stories. The cover is beautiful to look at and so are the pictures that are on the inside of this book. If this type of book is your style of reading, then it is a must, that you read this book. ...more
