This is my favorite of the trilogy. I loved how everything slowly built up to this one thing, and though it felt a little quick timeline-wise, it's still a pretty momentous occasion, so I feel like you would only enjoy this third installment if you have emotional investment in the characters. I loved the sister and what she went through, and it's actually in those moments (and one other) that I totally kept crying. I pretty much got hooked in the rest of the way, and because I'd read the previous two books, it was easy to accept the form of writing style that was quick to the point but still managed to linger in the details.
I liked the guys, and Ciera, but out of all the other books I've read (including those by Paige) I feel like I didn't connect with them as much as I'd have liked. I felt more of the alluring mystery from Tris and the others. The ending wasn't disappointing, it was entertaining. I would LOVE to see this on film, it's so frightening. And who doesn't love a good balance?...more

I like that all three of the guys get revealed a little at a time with every book, and I love that Rose developed so much more in this one. There's always another layer being revealed, and it keeps things exciting.
I'm really not into sappy, soap opera-type dialogue when their words remind me of intense Russian ballet. That's just me personally, so the beginning when Anton had to be raw with Rose was a little rough for me, but then Rose showed her own type of dance and it was a lot easier to get into the rest of the story. I totally don't think it's bad of the book, it's just me, and it works for them. Anton was a weird guy to get used to but once it was finally out what kind of 'monster' he was, it was so much easier to also get him. It was just weird. Like a good weird. Each step toward resolution and acceptance was hard, and a few times it got sad and intense, but it was totally worth it. It's a definite recommend if you like dark romances and RH....more

A 3.9 for me.
It's really close to a 4 but the things that lagged were too consistent, otherwise I thought this was one of the best reads of 2019. It's been a while since I've read a good YA sci-fi that turns me around, and it's my first time reading anything by these authors, so even more, I feel impressed by what I just read. It was interesting, unique in such a popular genre, and I loved the build-up. They concentrated on the most important things: the destination, and the people. I was excited when I realized this had a competition-type trope, but even though the first half only had our trio's journey to getting over to the whole excitement, I wasn't upset. I loved that they focused on the three of them and their relationship, I thought it built them up more solidly before then moving on to the other stuff.
The writing was really great at some parts but in others, it'd be redundant or seem a word/sentence too long and I'd lose the momentum. What I was really fascinated with were their characters; one, who's afraid of dying; the second, an underdog who thinks he's never enough, and a third who can either make or break their success. A few of their stories and strength would wobble here and there but when the points DID it, it was amazing. I enjoyed this book so much I immediately went to go get the second book, but since that won't be out for months, I'll hold off until then to get the duology's physical copies.
It's a definite recommend if you love stories being twisted on you. YA sci-fi is pretty hard to come by in my opinion and if you enjoy books that push the normal boundaries of what love means, check this out....more
Alright, I'm totally being reminded why I fell super hard for Reine when I first discovered her years ago. I got into her first series and was so mindAlright, I'm totally being reminded why I fell super hard for Reine when I first discovered her years ago. I got into her first series and was so mind-blown that I had to take a break, but now that I've had my time to chill, I'm now scrambling to get it all. Honestly anything I can get my hands on.
Lincoln was part of Elise's story (her first series) and seeing him here trying to not be the racist jerk he was blindly raised to be is surprisingly entertaining. It's weird because he doesn't think that his mindset is wrong, and it actually makes me sad that he's unaware of what's really wrong. Which is also why I was really happy when he did realize what was up. It got sad again of course when he had to learn some truths the hard way. No one likes hearing when family is bad or wrong.
Rylie and Abel them get their turn in Lincoln's series and I fell a little more in love with Sophie's eccentric self. I'm a hopeless romantic and always want the hero and heroine to end up together, but I love that Reine's taking her time in doing it the right way. And even if they don't end up together, I honestly would be okay because I'm loving the way she's writing it all. I also love the world building. There's just something amazing in clicking with a book that makes everything easy to melt into. And this book's lucky i already have the third installment because that cliffhanger seriously KILLED me for a second before I realized I wouldn't have to wait lol.
It's a definite recommend. If you love the genres, the paranormal creatures mentioned, the author, or if you've just happened across this, I recommend it. I never want to leave this world....more

I've been in a reading slump for a few months now and I've done alright with a few books from authors I've been reading for years, but this dark story seriously had me intrigued in ways that I forgot I could feel. I read a book that was more comedic than anything, and it made me smile. I read this book, and it was all so enticing and mysterious and "dangerous" and then dangerous (totally italicize that last word).
I liked Rose. She initially came off as this type of woman with a set history so you already think you know everything, but then everything changes and you start to wonder. I thought that bit was brilliant. I loved the characters. I absolutely loathe the woman I will not name and when you read this book, you'll know exactly who I'm referring to. I wasn't 100% submerged until around 20% percent. Most of this was really good and there were some parts that made my toes tingle. Then there were the few things that showed up like a thing bobbing in water that I wasn't 100% feeling because they took me out of the book. It's probably just me, but I don't like flowery/poetic dialogue because it doesn't sound realistic. Like I'll stop reading to envision someone saying it out loud and it just doesn't work. I totally get it and most times it works because it's a book, but it's small things like that, that I'm taken out of the story, and I'd rather be enjoying the book than questioning something that feels like magic.
Aside from that, the following areas felt like I was toddling: the beginning, somewhere in the near end of the middle, and the end. One part felt too long, the others felt too convenient. The end was amazingly hot but when you compare it to the way everything got built up in the first half of the book, the second half just felt like it wasn't given the same amount of pacing.
Overall, it's a 4 because of those things mentioned above but this is also a book I bought and will most certainly buy for others for the holidays. I love the set up the author did, I love the detail. I love it, love it, love it. I'm stoked for the second book, and until that time, I'll be recommending this to my other friends who adore dark romances. My favorite book of this author thus far....more

It's a 4.5 for me.
I had my doubts about loving this because I don't really like history books that don't have anything to do with highlanders but when I opened this, I was surprised with how easy it was to sink into it. And then I was reading it and enjoying Private Cathy Williams and everything she was. Her heartaches, her accomplishments, even a love story was in this! I don't usually read this genre so I'm not sure what is expected of a book like this, but I loved it. I cried a few times with what happened, I legit cared about Cathy and everything that happened to her. And the ending!
It's a recommend read. Cathy Williams is what heroines are based off of; strong-willed and dedicated to a cause, I hope you at least look this woman up to see what she did in her life before it was legal for women to serve in the military....more

I don't think I'd even want to imagine the horrors of having possibly walked away from one of the most awesome authors I could accidentally come across. Her contemporary romance is engaging and seriously hooks you in, and with this novella to the American Gods series, I think it was perfect. It didn't feel unbalanced or lacking, it was full of hot and mildly frightening things, and it just never stopped rolling. The reading experience felt like a forest fire, the longer I spent with it, the more consumed I was. I loved Nathan's abrupt personality and the way he was so different when it came to handling her, and she was this extremely likable character I immediately clicked with. I loved it all, but best of all, I loved the HEA ending. You can believe I'd one-click that button again if I could....more

I seriously love this because before the end of the first chapter, I was already laughing out loud and loving the wit and sarcasm. They were articulate, and when you've got a smart aleck and a debater in the same room, you know some things are going to go down... or bloom.
This was simple, but it dealt with such hard concepts and topics. I loved how easy it flowed, how easily I found myself investing in the characters. West was grouchy but not TOO grouchy, but it wasn't like he couldn't smile, cause he totally did when Nina was around. It makes his smiles seem more valuable, you know? He just had his reasons for doing what he did, so he was never ridiculous. Nina was just adorable. It's always funny to be a bookworm and read a bookworm's perspective. She was straight-forward, kind, and spoke up for herself. It was easy to relate to both of them and their family issues, and it was just fun to fall for them as they fell for each other. I can't not recommend this, because it still makes me smile when I think about it and it's my favorite 2018 read as of yet....more

Darius and Kat were great to read. As someone who'FIrstly, I need to say that Darius is one hot incubus that's like the total package. Okay, I'm done.
Darius and Kat were great to read. As someone who's read all the books set after this paranormal romance, it's like, seriously cool to see how the hunters look like from a human's POV. When Kat goes through what she does in the beginning to get introduced to the hunter world, you're there to experience everything she does. Everything probably every ignorant hunter goes through when deciding to leave their human lives behind for the opportunity to serve the powerful and protect the humans. It was fun seeing familiar names and faces, and though this was a great story, I'm still a little giddy over placing names to other people in Matthew's books (the books that are set after this, okay?). Okay so now for this book:
Kat was a strong person I easily got to click with. I loved how she took everything, and how even as she wore her armor for the rest of the world, she still had that bit of softness to her that allowed her to entertain the thought of Darius for a little at a time. Darius, who came off as this really good guy with muscles and a brain and some sensitivity (where Kat was concerned lmao) was also fun to read about, because he's not a warrior incubus. Instead of alpha males and the gory goodness, we get a different type of predator. It all just felt sweeter and softer while still being hot and near-dangerous, if that makes sense. It's a huge recommend if you've read this author or enjoy hunters and incubi and vampires. ...more

This is a 4.9 for me and only because of the one instance I had where I got pulled back into reality to witness the story shifting to the next phase of the plot. Otherwise, everything else was amazingly perfect. It's my first time reading Mann and I must say that I'm pleasantly surprised and happy to know that Mann's first book was a hit for me. I loved the writing, the sex scenes, how the drama seemed to hit in all the right places. This book can go from thriller-mystery to romantic-sweet and it never once shook my reading experience. I don't know how the author managed to make so many things work, but it totally felt like a solid read to me. It was just... near perfect for a girl who usually only gets hyped about fantasy reads. 4.5 for me! This author writes a great deal of intensity and sometimes I can't handle her darker stories, but I absolutely love the psychological ones she does. This is one of them. Our main characters all have difficulty with dealing with their brains, and Webster aids in making us all see a different side to the illnesses we're used to hearing about. The POV was just so different from what I've read and it really blew me away with the uniqueness of it. Torin was just someone I wanted to wrap my arms around. When I first read the blurb, it sounded a little too cliche (like they'd done it on purpose or something) but I really enjoyed the first book in this author's line of fairytale retellings, so I bypassed the good twin / evil twin thing and dove in. And. I. Am. So. Happy.
The thing kinda lays it out for itself but as I read, I found that I really loved Aura's character. Luna was strong and kind of a downer (but in a funny way) and Phillip was like, this optimistic guy that just came into the middle of them. Bond really takes a little of the old tale and makes it her own, so much so that it doesn't even seem like much of the original tale. It's awesome. The writing changed to fit the pace of each character's POV, and I love faeries so really anything with them and I'm all for it. It's a high recommend if you love fantasy and twists....more

It's a last act of proving herself but this time, it isn't to the world or their town. It's to Iannis's family. And the women are... well, not all that impressed with his bride-to-be.
It was entertaining, pretty fun but I had major nostalgic feels because I just couldn't let it go. This makes me want to cuss so much because of how amazing this was for me. Like, I can't believe how great it was. You need to read it if you love reverse harem and dark fantasy. The guys are jerks but you can't fault them because they're total loner killers who don't know this seemingly random woman who's been watching them for the past five years.
It's sexy because she's what we all probably are and she'd like to see her wish fulfilled where they're involved before moving on with finding her one true love and all that. Just knowing that she's still gullible but feisty when she's had enough is ENOUGH to make me like this. But then you have the guys and how they're so reluctant to do this, and then tear your heart apart, but MAKE YOU want more- I still can't deal with it. Like, wow. Just wow. WOW. I was totally fangirling with this when I first read it. Reverse harem, hot brothers, dragons, common girl made special. The writing was cool with the old village type of thing, and though the modern words in these type of settings bother me sometimes, I couldn't find myself to care about it here. Totally made it hotter with the sex scenes (yuuum). I liked Dareena's character, how she started off as someone who didn't think she could get the finer things until it happened, and you see her confidence build. Toward the middle-end, things did get a little fast, so I didn't get to really see a lot of that transition. The brothers were cool. It was easy to tell who was who just based off of how they acted or said something. I think my favorite thing of this was the king and how often the darker themes teased me with frightening 'what if's', like the... well.

I've become emotionally invested in Nia Rivers because of how much she maintains her status of personal strength. I like her near no-nonsense attitude that can be playful at the same time, and the fact that despite being an immortal, she still enjoys the little things (like archaeology) that help the bigger picture (assuring people aren't forgotten). I think it's very cool. Loren has a special place in my heart, though, cause there's just something about her that is amazingly bright. I'm glad Nia has a partner in her when they go on adventures. Their newest one with King Arthur and the Templar Knights was pretty interesting. I dislike history but Nia makes it fun. Their mission in this third installment was to locate the Holy Grail before the bad guys did, and it was this whole treasure hunt through historical places, which again, was pretty cool.
I liked it, overall. The beginning was a little slow for me but once people started talking more, I quickly got into the story flow and the rest of the monologue/action. King Arthur was a very interesting man, kinda sexy despite there not being anything sexual between him and Nia. I absolutely thought their little town was just great. The whole system and culture with the witches really made things more fascinating. Again, I don't like history, so there were a few moments when the reading did slow down, and it was hard to want to continue reading when it felt like the book was more centered on Loren or Nia's personal things instead of the main adventure, which I don't mind, but when the personal seems more important than the mission, and we still get more 'mission' than 'personal', it begins to feel a little discombobulated. Just a little.
So I seesawed between a 3 and a 4 but the 4 won out because of how much I overall found this satisfying. And seriously, any book that can make me want to read about history is a book worth looking at....more

Better than the first installment of this spin-off! I loved that I got to see a little more of Mina and the kind of woman she was. With all the crazy stuff happening to prove that she is who she says she is, it's one suspenseful chapter after another, partnered with a very cute, romantic aspect of the story as she and Fenris get a little closer. While this is Fenris's story, I still personally think this book was for Mina, to show you the kind of life her's had been like before Fenris came into her life. I enjoyed seeing Iannis and Sunaya in here for the brief time they appeared, it really solidified Fenris's feelings about missing his family. Fenris and Mina are cool. I liked how they were both in hiding and wanted to lie low, but couldn't, because of feels. It was definitely a much slower pace than the love enforcer that this series spins off from, but I thought it perfectly fit Fenris' chill personality. The tone was different but fit just as well, and Mina- to quote Fenris -was like a star of soft light. 4.5 for me.
Wow. When I first started this book, I found it a little hard to get into because it was bringing up things and names I didn't know, so it was like coming midway into something. But like an epic story, The Tiger's Watch does start in the middle of it all, specifically, the ending of a losing battle in their own homeland. Tashi and their friend Pharo are escaping to the monastery, hoping to live another day and not die or be sold as slaves like the rest of their comrades. However, before they can even begin to think that they're safe in the cold mountains, a troop of enemy soldiers arrives at their door, and it's their commanding officer, Xian, that really starts off the story.
I liked this a lot. The cover totally got me to click on it and when I read the blurb, I thought it was interesting. The beginning was slow only because I was getting the crash course in kingdoms and names and culture and 'should-already-knows', but I quickly caught on once things slowed down. Tashi was a very interesting character, and I liked that they knew they were weak but still tried to do better. I also enjoyed the fact that they didn't identify with only one gender, though reading it from their POV only took me out of the story once because of the whole 'I did this' coming from someone who wished to be addressed as 'they/them'. I don't know the rules or proper use of address, and most of the time, it was more of a fact like Xian having blue eyes, which was also a cool thing to do to make it normal despite the type of character not appearing all the time. I just really appreciated that this was done. Aside from their refusal to reform, I thought they were also strong in a sense that they refused to do what felt wrong to them. It's a war, and sides are not always black and white. I loved that they knew this without being told, because it made for a really interesting plot.
This story of survival and struggling to understand that what you were always told was a lie made things a little suspenseful, while still keeping that chill, slightly romantic aspect of Tashi with Pharo and Xian. Loved the world that was built up, liked the tone and writing style. The characters were pretty interesting, as was their interaction with them. It was complicated, and it made sense to me. They're young, stuck in the middle of a more confusing time. It was overall an excellent story I'm glad to have stumbled upon because I so look forward to the second installment....more

4.5 for me. It's been a while since I've read this author's work, mainly because her heart-breaking stories and writing always tend to get me right in the feels, and I become an emotional mess for days. This one, while still a little teary with the drama, was more sweet and hopeful with a HEA that didn't rip your heart out. I've been seeing a trend with step-sibling romances, but this author's been gearing for it for a while now, and I thought this one was particularly kinky for the readers that love taboo, challenging love.
The writing style was different, but pleasant. A sort of story-teller mode leading up to the small but crucial moments in Malik and Kyria's lives when they finally realize what it is they really want to do. I usually prefer the books with dialogue, but Tee wrote it in such a way that I had no problem just going along for the ride. The sweet things gave me cavity, the hot scenes reminded me why Tee is the erotic sugar queen of my life, and overall, it was an entertaining romance I devoured in less than a few hours. For the sake of saving face on here, I'll try to reign in the feels this book gave me.
I enjoyed it a lot. There was a tantalizing reveal every other chapter, and I loved it. At first I was very sad about Yuki and KC's breakup because of how much I adored their first story, and you'll have to understand that when I saw KC in other stories in college, I wanted to die. And then I saw that this was finally out and I couldn't read it fast enough. It was... something else, for sure. I don't know how to say it without spoiling anything for you, but I will say that although I had a few hard times with it, the next scene quickly explained it all and then I felt better again.
KC is a character you don't see a lot. She's a young woman who loves and doesn't stop. At times I thought she was a crazy stalker and it was kinda endearing, a little frightening. I was worried she'd come off really pathetic but one of the things I love about her is how much and sure she is about someone. Like I said, you don't get a lot of characters like her, someone who whole-heartedly believes in their love for someone. A lot of times when things get hard and we get scared, we close off or move on, to keep from being hurt any further. But not KC. She endured it all, knowing it was nothing because in the end, they had love.
This story was a total heartache love fest for me. He was a jerk, and mean, but then he'd do something unexpected yet not, like keep her safe, watch out for her when she didn't know it. It was like a layer of truth kept getting pulled back to reveal something else for me and that really made this book amazing for me. I love that she didn't stop, no matter how many times I'd cry hoping she did just to save herself the pain. I thought it was really good, and seriously, it's one of the reasons why I love this author so much. Definitely recommended if you love anime, manga and that good Korean drama because this reminded me of it a lot, being a fan and all. Those who don't know those things may not get or appreciate the humor and intentions, which is a major shame, but yes. Check it out....more

4.5. There's a reason I try to make sure I don't read this when I'm already such a blanket burrito! I totally loved it. I'm a huge sucker for the complicated romances, they're like candy for me. Khalil was an interesting man to see, especially since I've known about him for a few years now, back when he and Saffi were still promised to each other. But it's been years now, and he's older, wiser. He's got total love and devotion for his kingdom and Harper, the woman he loves to aggravate, is a funny woman. She comes from humble roots and doesn't know what he sees in her when he decides to ask her to marry him. And sadly, she isn't really a great 'queenly' candidate, but when you think about it, it's her heart- the one he sees and adores -that he sees is perfect for his kingdom. Only issue is that she's a foreigner and not of high status. So what does one do? He throws a party.
Just kidding, but seriously. Loved it. It was a little fast in some cases, and while I can see it working out that way, I still would've liked to see some scenes fleshed out, like the attack, for example. Still, I know this is a romance, so I tried not to think about that too much (though it would've been so cool you know?). This was great. XD I don't think I've ever read a book that had a pair of MCs who liked RP (role playing) but they do and even better, they enjoy the aspects in each other that the other does not, mainly due to wondering if it's as perverted as society would have us all think.
The story started of funny enough with that low key danger mixed in with an 'oops' moment. You already know both have the hots for each other but they don't act on it just yet, not until something happens, at least. The pacing was good. The first time it slowed down for me, I wondered about it, because I'm enjoying the sex and the hurricane of 'what-ifs', but by the time it happened again for the both of them, I pleasantly realized how in-depth this actually was. I've read everything of this author so far and am used to the deliciously long but fast story of heated sexathons and intense emotions, but with Kate and Tyler, it's a slow burn. They're already beyond into each other, but what it all comes down to is whether or not they should act on it. They worry, and as you read about their growing closeness, you also get a deeper look into why they are the way they are. It ended up being pretty heady and heavy, like a giant fat cat that decides to plop itself right on your chest as you're sitting by the fire.
It just seemed really good to go from what you assume is all about sex and emotions running high to some seriously serious people looking to keep things under control and not go crazy. Like Tyler. He's an older gentleman, someone who used to be a firefighter before he ended up with a career in engineering. He's commanding, efficient, and everyone loves him. Except himself. Yes, he knows he's pretty good, but when you first get into his POV, he totally gives off the slight puppy dog pout because of his (sorta recent) break-up, the demands of his family, and his attraction to Katie and the fact that he's old enough to be her father. Awww. Plus he's a hoot when it comes to sarcasm. I couldn't help but feel bad for him when he grumbled but at the same time, he ended up being really endearing.
Katie was just something else. At first you think she's just really peppy and sweet and the girl every guy loves to call BFF but when you read further in, a lot of other stuff gets revealed. I won't say for spoilers' sake, but I did enjoy her character development. I think it was the best thing about this book, if not the sex itself lol. The other characters, like their co-workers and derby teammates, were cool, and though I got enough from the co-workers they worked with, I really enjoyed seeing Katie's mates. They were all different, had their own defining personality, but best of all, the best were really there for her when she needed it. Heart! I loved what they all brought and thought they really made the ending part of the book so much more awesome.
I liked the way it ended, thought it was overall hot and funny. It pretty much left me with the feels and it's a definite recommend if you wanna try out MCs who role play and explore the more 'kinky' parts of themselves while challenging society's expectations in life....more

Chandler is getting used to the paranormal world she was tossed into in the last book. She's somewhat got a hint on her allies, but her enemies seem endless, and even more mysterious than the last. I loved seeing her struggle to stay one step ahead of the people constantly backmailing and hassling her. The fae and witches and others are always cool to read about, but that with Detective Chandler's active lifestyle of not dying and Maddock- ah, Maddock -made for a seriously entertaining read. Loved the chemistry between them, the should and should not debates. It's a high recommend for people who love paranormal they-kiss-really-good books with writing that makes you forget you're reading....more

This was an overall entertaining read of a boxed set. I liked the world that the author built, with the dragons and the wars and all the things going on between the humans and each individual dragon. I thought it was all fast-paced, interesting (some more than others). If I had to choose a favorite, it'd probably be the last one, because of how different it was from the rest. It was a new setting, a new chapter in the big book of Let's Go Dragons. Pretty funny, pretty hot, and an overall fun read of dragons and their mates....more

This one was interesting. I loved the new addition, and the way things went down from start to finish. Rhys has been a pretty interesting character in the background, and with him having his own story, it was fun to watch him struggle with wanting a mate and letting her go. The other character who acted as a side (though I suspect this isn't the last of them) was also pretty interesting for a bit, giving the story an added 'what if' that fortunately didn't go down because of everything else. It was fast paced, entertaining at the time and overall satisfying for this dragon fan....more

4.5 for the super slight lags that made me want to pull my hair out as I read every word instead of skipping lines to get to the thick of it all like I wanted, but WOW. Now this was something.
When I first read this, I detested the MC's attitude and outlook on life, but I gave her a chance because after all, I wasn't exactly meeting her at a good time. The story swept me right in the middle of it all like an epic story, and though I would've appreciated a bit of a breather to better understand her and what was going on, I still enjoyed myself as I got closer to the end. It's like with every chapter, Ursila's character development bloomed a little more, until it was ending and I was crying and thinking about how much better she was as a whole. In the middle, it was a bit apparent what was going on, and a few characters were a little hard to get into- though I don't know if that was on purpose -but in the end, I'm quite blown away by what I read. Loved the writing and its flow, loved the complex characters. It's a book you must check out if you love everything I've mentioned because they're all that and so much more. It was like a plot twist within a plot twist. The romance in the beginning left me a little wanting, and thought some ideas were cute, but overall, I'm pretty sure I'll forever be fawning over this for its sneaky, intelligent plots and plans against the throne....more

Loved this! Fenris has always been one of the favorites because of how he could be so smooth and elegant, slick and smart even when not a main character in the Sunaya Baine Chronicles. This was more of a treat for the fans of the series, and I'm so glad that I got to see what he was like before he had to change his entire life. Wish it was a little longer, cause it seems like I can never get enough of Fenris, but I'll take anything I can get. Writing style was great and flowed, Polar was just cool, and it was an overall great read with a glimpse of a man I look forward to getting to know better....more

Loooved this one! The first one felt like I was walking through tar to get to the golden bits but this one totally came at me like a freight train of giggles and feels. I loved Loren in the first installment, and she really keeps things light in this one as she bff's it up with her partner in crime, Nia. The Immortal certainly had more emotional things to deal with, and though I didn't get anything directly of her from her past, it still was a fun as hell trip to see her get in the middle of a looming battle amongst the Greek gods. I laughed out loud so much. It helped with the sadder things, like Nia trying to figure out what it was exactly that she wanted. The feels were of all types, but intense, all the same. It was just really entertaining all around. I even had a time or two of wanting to shake her when she did stupid things, but in the end, they all panned out. The writing was great and flowed well, the world building was pretty cool and unique (I loved what they came up with) and I can't wait for the third installment. Just when I thought it couldn't get better.......more
