REVIEW Brand new series by this author and wow it's a good first book in it. I love this author's creepy stories and this one doesn't disappoint.
Detective Winters has her hands full with something that is happening out in the desert which many now call home. Rejects who chose to live away from civilization. But fires happen, people die, and they know something and this detective is determined to find out.
She also has the issue of ... one of her own lives in that hot-as-heck desert city too. But who can she trust? Because your brain will say it's this person through most of the book until boom it's not what you thought at all. Gripping!

Evil Boys fits this story... But are they a match for Here Kitty Kitty... Lana is determined... until Kai, Milo, and Nathan who are damaged, obsessive, and wicked learn her little secret. Each of these guys has something she is going to enjoy. Who knows maybe you will too. There could be triggers for some but I think it's in the beginning about that so take it with a grain of salt, or heck mix it up for a HOT, Thrilling, Marguerita... I also enjoy this author's dark books!

Wolf Shield WOWZERS!! Wonderfully written story. Hudson is a guardian of Chaos and nothing comes easy. His team is quested with keeping the earth safe from others. What happens when the fates finally bless you with your true one and she is human? She is now a pawn for the bad guys? Fergie has no clue about paranormals, she has no clue that her best friend and roommate is one until she almost loses her life. Will she succumb to the handsome wolf who claims she is his? We get action galore, and romance is hot!!!
Dragon Shield Kingston's story and it's soul-crushing in a way. Many in the Keep do not know of his past, what he did and why. It will all come to a head though when this Alpha Dragon finds his one true mate. Holley has been there all along, out of touch but Kingston has been in her heart and mind. Kingston finds himself having more and more dreams of his mate but how can that be? We get more dealings with the Evil Loyalists too so no one is truly safe. This story tugs on the heart, and the action is a given when dealing with those who wish to harm paranormals. Loved this story!
Stallion Shield I think so far in the Guardians of Chaos this was my favorite. Furio is the youngest of the guardians and sometimes he acts it. He knows Jessenia is his one true mate, however, he may have burned that bridge before he ever got to gallop across it. The loyalists are still out there and when his sassy kitchen witch puts herself in harm's way he knows then all bets are off and he was to make her his... Loved it!

This is beautifully illustrated, and perhaps you should read the book first to learn the characters. Riordan is a true Alpha male, and Juliette is his match in every way. A true collection piece for those who love this author, and her books. And please know this is like a comic book, with tons of graphics however it does not read like a real book. But fantastic just the same!

Panther Shield- I absolutely love the Guardians of Chaos stories and in this one, we get Elena Soussa, the kick-butt she-cat. Elena has a problem, and her friend at the Keep Egro' offers to help her but no way, no how. After a discussion with the mates of the Keep, Elena visits a club... Meets him... the one... or is he? But... he is human. She wasn't supposed to want him, just one night... Her cat has other ideas... Logan only knows he wants the woman no matter what she is and he will prove it. And I have a feeling Egro' the witch will get his in the next book and I can't wait.
Witch Shield- Those beasts took her brother Logan and Margo will jump through fire and windows literally to get him back. Ergos is the witch for the guardians, he is loyal as they come but when his gaze lands on Margo he knows she is his... He has to work this carefully considering Margo wants to take them out. Margo may just have to throw caution and life goals to the wind because she wants the man who sends her skin tingling. Can these two overcome everything and everyone who stands in their way and can Ergos trust her? I love this series and was so tickled to finally get our witch' story! Love the chemistry between these two and the HOT is scorching...
