I'm in a place in life where I'm peeling back layers of indoctrination and trying to decipher - what is it I actually believe? What is my worldview versus the beliefs imposed on me in my youth? The timing of this book was perfect. Glennon puts to words what's been on my heart for so long. She helped me answer questions about myself and my girls. Halfway through, I found myself repeating some of her gems of wisdom to my daughters.

Terrible things occur simply because we don't understand one another. Terrible things will continue to happen in the United States if we don't learn how to communicate with one another. Malcolm Gladwell hones in on strong examples of this in his book and I can't recommend this book enough. Read it. Talk about it. Share it with friends.
