I didn't know about this one, so I'm anxious to read it. Despite Blixen's sense of entitlement, diminishment of servants, and cruelty towards animals, she was a beautifully lyrical writer. Thanks for your review!

Shame that the US never really bothers to dub foreign films. There are several Nordic jewels, and "Babette's Feast" is one. I guess in that sense I'm lucky to live in Spain--they dub just about everything.
