Nicole And the ones your mother gives you don't do anything at all.

Bryce You make this book sound AMAZING, but not in the way the author intended I'm sure.

Jennifer We had to read this book in middle school. Scared the crap out of had no effect on later choices some people made.

Cheryl ha! I read this in about 1972 as a young teen. It was fascinating to me, all though even then I managed to keep it context for just being a story, rather than the way life really was.
When I was that age too, I desperately for several years wanted a soft leather coat with those lovely long fringes on the sleeves and hem. To go with the extra wide bell bottoms...

Lynda Hi I too read this at school, wonder if I will have it on the shelves

Mindy This came in Amazon's email for daily ebook deals today. I came here immediately to see if you had read and reviewed it. Aha. Now I REALLY want to read it. Sounds fun in that crazy way only classic propaganda can be.

Alex Haaaaaaaaaa, uh, happy to help?

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads This one was shoved down our throats, too, despite it being a good 10 years out of date. And incredibly lame. But definitely mock-worthy!

I knew an older girl who had one of those fringed coats. It was way cool.

Alex I feel like you may have been one of the reasons I read this in the first place, Maybe that was just Valley of the Dolls.

Susanna - Censored by GoodReads Nope, never pressed this turkey on anyone that I can recall!
