Lyn Great review, I guess sometime in the near future I need to join the rest of reading civilization and read this delightful monster

Can't argue with that. It is better to read a good novel than reading 4 bad ones.

Hudson M-O-O-N that spells Tom Cullen!

Tom Cullen is such a hilarious character.

Kelly (and the Book Boar) Great review!!! I've read this twice, but AGES ago. One of these days I'm going to have to break down and read it again. It's easily the best good v. evil story I've ever seen.

I can't believe you've read this twice!! King is my fave author, and he loves to do the good vs evil thing. Thanks btw :)

Kelly (and the Book Boar) You're quite welcome. I only read it twice because King released an uncut version (which I'm sure is what you read) and I just HAD to know what was added, but now that I've been here on Goodreads it pops up a few times each year and I wonder what my reaction would be since it's been so long since I read it ; )

After reading all of King's novels(I actually plan on doing that), I might reread this, just for fun :)

Wayne Barrett If you've never read it, some of this story and characters cross over in the Dark Tower series.

message 12: by Christi (new)

Christi I think this is his absolute best "standalone" book.

Lono Great review. Love the lead in with that quote. Such a great book. I have nothing but praise for it.

Okay. I will take note of this recommendation. I have read only one Stephen King and it wasn't a very pleasant experience. It's time that changes.^^

Evelyn (devours and digests words) Re-reading this review a second time. Only 3 of my friends reviewed this and yours is by far the best. Great review, Will :)

Charlie Collins I like your review. I'm new here and this is one of the best so far. I loved this novel.

Catherine Smith Love your review. Have you read IT? It barely passes The Stand as my all time favorite. Never had I EVER seen some amazing character development.
