Mel So you're saying there is no bad cliffhanger, just the wish for the next book? I might be swayed to read in sooner, then...

message 7: by Tessi4M (new)

Tessi4M In terms of cliffhanger, I personally did find it kind of cruel.

YES! IMO. I'm really glad I read this. Of course I'm anticipating #2, but not like I'm dying or anything. Again IMO. :)

Mel Ok ok, you convinced me :-) I will read it soon.

... Or not? Wow! It's expensive!

message 15: by Tessi4M (new)

Tessi4M I always try looking for Kobo discount codes in such cases. There are always some out there - easily 50% off. In this case, it has DRM, so you cannot (legally) get it onto a Kindle, but Kobo has free apps for various devices.

message 16: by Mel (new)

Mel Thanks, Tessi. I will look into that. I use calibre, anyway. So it should be no problem getting this on my kindle...

message 17: by Tessi4M (new)

Tessi4M You would need a special plug-in for Calibre, I believe, since the book has DRM. And I'm pretty sure it's not legal. I never had to try since I have a Sony as well for those cases, but I thought it should be mentioned ;-)

message 18: by Mel (new)

Mel Hm, okay... Will look into it ;-) Thanks for the warning!

Yeah... Unfortunately. There're not many authors I'll pay up for, but with Geoffrey Knight? I'll gladly pay.
