Always a shame when an anticipated book doesn't meet your expectations!
Yes - I agree completely that it was like their personalities were transplanted. That was a good description! And yeah I felt all they did was freak out about stuff and rush around to a new house. How many houses can there be? Seriously?!

It had been a long time since the first two novels, so I went back and read the previous one again when I realized I didn't remember many of the details. Having done so the third seemed quite seamless to me.
