Ririn Don't know how I missed this review.

Linda, I'm curious. Did the hero really a married man? (from the synopsis)

Linda Great observations, Ririn! And I can see how reading the synopsis is very confusing. I don't know how I missed that! No, he is not a married man. I went to Ms. Kelly's website and copied over part of her synopsis to make it less confusing. ;-)

Luli Lovely review, Linda.

I liked this story but I think my problem with it was that At times the excessive amount of everything going on slowed down the actual romance.

But I love how Ms. Kelly writes her beta heroes...*sigh* :)

Thank you, Luli. Did you give the romance a try?

Reading a 'Kelly' is not for everyone; her heroes are for the most part betas, there is always a nice side dose of history and there are always tears. That, and her characters always talk to themselves.

I think there is only one, so far, that I wouldn't recommend but some other GR friends loved the story. I guess it just depends on your tastes. Lol! :D

I have read a few Carla Kelly´s and my lower rating has been a 3 stars. I consider this a good omen :P
I´m only careful to choose her former romances because the newer are Christian romances, if I´m not mistaken.
But I love beta heroes and I love how CK write them.
:)

Which one, Linda?

Linda Luli, I have only read her earlier romances, too. The one I didn't care for was Miss Milton Speaks Her Mind. But every GR friend that read it, enjoyed it. So don't pay attention to my rating. :-/

Luli Uff, Linda, I don´t know… I think Miss Milton Speaks Her Mind could put my patience to the test, and we both know how lack in that department I am :P
Isn´t that title a bit impropriated? :))

I´ll try first Doing No Harm. It appeals more to me and it has been on my TBR for a long time.
:)

Re: Miss Milton Speaks Her Mind. There were just too many tears and I wanted a stronger heroine to match the title. I have Doing No Harm in my to-read pile but be aware, Luli, that it is emotional and draining from what I've read. Do you have any other Kellys to read?

I just take a look at some reviews and they say it deals with some tough issues and that there is more tragedy than romance… I didn´t know it, I don´t recall why I choose this one…

Would you recommend me one a bit more happy, Linda? I really like CK. :)
