Dana Wonderful review & commentary! I'm older than you, and life is even more different now than when I was growing up. I'm going to have to read this book & hope to experience what you did. Thanks for sharing!

Janine you haven't read twisted? omg it is her very best one. I read it first and speak, catalyst and winter girls were no way near as good. it's one of my favourite books ever.

Bailey I also read Catalyst and Speak & loved both. I read Twisted, too, which was recommended to me. I'm VERY glad I read it because Laurie Halse Anderson hooked me! This book was amazing!

Renee If you like Laurie, may I recommend Wintergirls? It's hands down my favourite book of all time, an eye opener; and for me, life changing.

Christina (A Reader of Fictions) You may recommend it, but I've already read it. TIKOM is my favorite Anderson thus far.

Janie Chodosh I love the dialogue in this book, and I am a big fan of all of her books. I thought this one hit hard.
